Yes. They came from different pressing plants. The one on the left is on styrene and the one on the right is on vinyl. There are however bootlegs that utilises the design with the "guitar" illustration.

Just found this green labeled one on the net: The 45 on HEAD was released in 1972. The original release of "Barefootin'" is on NOLA from 1966. The Jesse Gresham track first turned up on JEWEL in 1971 as "The Penguin (part 2)" but without the drum break intro that can be heard on the HEAD release.

I think it's an interesting version of MBLTB. Much slower than Don Gardner's, and not particularly suited for the dancefloor, but a nice oddity. I know of four other EPs on the CLUB TEEN label apart from Les Fleurs and Harlem Kiddies. They are by Things, Tumble Downs, The Sheltones and New Generations. All of them are hard to find. The chances of finding this 45 when casually browsing for records in Copenhagen are probably between zero & 0% as well. I've seen 4 copies in 10 years. 3 of them without picture sleeve. I'll scan the picture sleeve on my copy and post it here. I can't find it on the net anywhere.

Yes, it is very rare. Seldom turns up for sale. It was only released in Denmark. Came with a picture sleeve as well.

They're pretty much the same. Both sound crap and are extremely bass-heavy. Doesn't really matter though. The P-Vine issue shouldn't be of interest to anyone who collects original issues. It's a reissue from 1990. The original LP is from 1971.

If it was legal I find it highly unlikely that they would go to such trouble to replicate the Bell Sound stamp (and fail). I mean, why bother? It was most likely done to decieve buyers. The real "Bell Sound" stamp looks exactly the same on all 45s that it was used on.

If it was this one you bought then you bought the japanese reissue: The original US Turbo issue is very rare.

Is is a bootleg and definitely NOT made from the same stampers as the original first press demos and issues. The above does however have "Bell Sound" scratched into the deadwax, but it does NOT look the same as on the original. Someone tried to copy the "Bell Sound" stamp and did it fairly well, but ultimately failed. Check out this post for more info and comparisons:

According to the liner notes in Goldmine's "Northern Soul Fever vol. 2" (GSCD 43, released in 1993) it is: "A previously unreleased demo - Sirmatt - A Festival Recording" The Flirtations / Jimmy Ricks / Tommy Tucker "Festival" label? I guess "Sirmatt" is the publisher?

Just had a look at this. It doesn't look good at all. As you earlier wrote, a whole lot of sub-genres are gone within the r&b/soul and rock categories like "northern soul", "Motown", "60s punk/garage" etc. Might be time to start listing things on the co.uk site instead, at least the categories on there make a bit more sense.

There seems to be some glitches with eBay at the moment. Records appear, disappear an re-appear in a matter of hours. Are you searching from the .com site? I am and I can find 10 of your auctions by searching for them in the regular search box at the top and also by searching for your username (see below). Hope things work out!

That's right. But the chances of a registered/recorded/insured package getting lost is, in the grand scheme of things, not that big.
