  1. My reply seems to have disappeared. I've sold that dutch 45 a couple of times on eBay, it has never gone higher than $18. The UK 45 was issued twice, in 1972 (MW 3002) and 1975 (MW 3024), it's the first release and primarily the stickered demo or test pressing that usually fecthes higher amounts.
  2. There's now about 4 days left on these auctions: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html
  3. Roburt, I've got his 45's on Instant, Sansu and Deesu. Might have his Minit label 45's as well. Let me know if you struggle to find any of the recordings and I might be able to help you out.
  4. Hello! I've listed a bunch of records on eBay. There are label/sleeve scans and soundclips to everything. Check them out at: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking! Take care. /Sebastian
  5. The slower version is the one on the DELUXE label 45 mentioned in the first post in this thread. Have managed to find myself a copy of the HBR 45 with the fast version since my previous post in this thread as well, so no longer need the matrix details...
  6. Edit: WHOOPS! Just realised that I wrote pretty much the same thing as Godzilla above, but anyway, here goes: It defintiely is the Jim Seals. John Trombatore who was a band member in The Champs alongside Jim Seals, co-wrote some of his CHALLENGE sides and later also turned up as a co-writer on songs from the first couple of Seals & Crofts albums. https://www.sealsandcrofts.com/jimmyseals.html
  7. Less than 24 hours to go on these auctions now: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Plenty of current in-demanders and under-the-radar stuff! Thanks for looking.
  8. This has been the standard on US eBay for a long while. They charge 10% on the full amount, including the shipping.
  9. No, not strange. He was a cross-dresser and wore what is traditionally considered womens clothes. He was just open minded and ahead of the pack.
  10. Jackie Shane would qualify, I guess.
  11. I'm quite into Willie & Anthony's "I'm Tired (Of A One Way Love Affair)" on BLUE CANDLE at the moment. Gutsy, pounding stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVMjprRGvXA
  12. There's now about 4 days left on these auctions: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html It's a BIG batch of 200 45's with plenty of under-the-radar stuff and current in-demanders.
  13. It's Mickey & Sylvia at the far left. Big Al Sears with the saxophone and King Curtis on the far right. Milton/Milt Trenier in the middle, yes.
  14. And on the other end of the spectrum, Craig Moerer has got 507 copies in stock at $5 each. The reissue/bootleg that is!

  16. Not a million... but Jimmy Robins "I Can't Please You" being such a big seller has always surprised me. Apparently 25.000 units sold in Chicago during the first four weeks of its release. This is from Billboard Magazine, 5 November 1966:
  17. CF was down for maintenance earlier today. Back up now.
  18. Here's a start, the 26xxx series, running from 1969 to 1973: Flying Dutchman 26001 - Steve Allen - Where Did The People Go / Lo Mucho Que Te Quiero Flying Dutchman 26002 - Appleton Syntonic Orchestra - Chef D'Oeuvre / Newark Airport Rock Flying Dutchman 26003 - Flying Dutchman 26004 - Esther Marrow - He Don't Appreciate It / Mama Flying Dutchman 26005 - Flying Dutchman 26006 - Flying Dutchman 26007 - Esther Marrow - What A Wonderful World / Money Honey Flying Dutchman 26008 - Flying Dutchman 26009 - Flying Dutchman 26010 - Flying Dutchman 26011 - Gil Scott-Heron - Home Is Where The Hatred Is / The Revolution Will Not Be Televised Flying Dutchman 26012 - Flying Dutchman 26013 - Leon Thomas - Creator Has A Master Plan (part 1) / (part 2) Flying Dutchman 26014 - Flying Dutchman 26015 - Gil Scott-Heron - Lady Day And John Coltrane / Save The Children Flying Dutchman 26016 - Harold Alexander - Mama Soul / Sunshine Man Flying Dutchman 26017 - Flying Dutchman 26018 - Bob Thiele - Ranger's Waltz / Those Were The Days Flying Dutchman 26019 - Leon Thomas - China Doll (part 1) / (part 2) Flying Dutchman 26020 - Bob Thiele - Mozart's Joy / The President's Waltz Flying Dutchman 26021 - Pretty Purdie - Don't Go / Song For Aretha Flying Dutchman 26022 - Gato Barbieri - El Sertao / ? Flying Dutchman 26023 - Leon Thomas - Love Each Other / Let's Go Down To Lucy's Flying Dutchman 26024 - Pretty Purdie & The Playboys - Heavy Soul Slinger / Good Livin' (Good Lovin') Flying Dutchman 26025 - Leon Thomas - L-O-V-E / Boom Boom Boom Flying Dutchman 26026 - Leon Thomas - Never Let Me Go / Just In Time To See The Sun There is a later series as well, with 10xxx catalogue numbers, released when they were distributed by RCA. But it's a nightmare compiling those releases, becuase the used the same numbering system as RCA so there are lots of long numbering gaps amongst those releases.
  19. Perhaps they had?
  20. Out of all the US releases of this 45 that I've had, the one on ATTERU sounds the best. Clear, punchy sound. The releases on ATLAS sounds muffled in comparison. Here are the US release of this 45 that I've had, and in the order that I think they were released: Atteru white demo Atteru issue --- Atlas white demo Atlas blue issue Atlas multi-coloured issue --- Unity issue
  21. Chantels "Indian Giver" on VERVE.
  22. Yes, Germany as well. At least one 45 on Metronome: Pic & Bill - Just A Tear / Sad World Without You - METRONOME M 25019 See scans below. Another bizarre thing is that there was a famous swedish artist that covered "Sad World Without You" in 1969. Was only released on an EP featuring three other artists as well (one of them Downliners Sect with a unique tune, only released on that swedish EP).
  23. "Cressa" surely is a mis-spelling on the Cascade label compilation LP? All her 45's spell her name Cresa.
  24. Despite its rarity, that Cresa Watson 45, CHARAY 90, exists with two different b-sides - "Salvation" on one of them and "If You've Stopped Loving Me" on the other. Both feature "You're No Good" as the a-side.
