  1. £30 for a reissue!? That's not exactly your style, is it?
  2. When the Chess corporation was sold to GRT in January 1969, they immediately started to dish out loads of reissues with the same label design as on that Dells 45. "Run For Cover" was originally released in 1966. This post-1969 reissue might very well be rarer, but should not cost more than £3.
  3. One of those records that's hardly in demand at all. I got my copy for $18 or so on eBay maybe a year ago. I bought it for the frantic "That's What I Get" side, but the mid-tempo flipside "It's Bad" is apparently getting some spins at the moment. £10-£20 for now I'd say.
  4. No, because it doesn't exist. It's a Loadstone recording, but only released in the the UK.
  5. Absolutely monstrous tune! I love it. Not easy to pick up, but there's not exactly any serious demand for it either so you'll probably be able to pick up a copy for £30 or less if you look around a bit.
  6. Yes it is. A couple of copies has sold for as high as £175-£225 on eBay during the latest six months.
  7. I absolutely love: Debbie Taylor - Don't Let It End - GWP
  8. We just had this discussion. Check this out: /index.php?showtopic=22333
  9. Try these... ...for Goldmine tracklistings: https://www.boo-ga-loo.demon.co.uk/boogoo34.htm ...for Kent tracklistings: https://www.boo-ga-loo.demon.co.uk/boogoo39.htm for other northern CDs tracklistings: https://www.boo-ga-loo.demon.co.uk/boogoo45.htm
  10. Manship's prices for in-demand stuff usually is about 200% over the top. If he lists it for £100, you can get it for about £30-£35 elsewhere. Case in point: about a week ago a mint copy of the Shep 45 on TNT failed to sell on eBay with an opening bid of £39.99 because that's roughly £10 more than what this 45 usually sells for on eBay.
  11. Yes it exists. Issued on Sue. Rarely comes up for sale. I like it. Not much demand for it, I would've thought.
  12. Great tune but...£120... a bit steep in my opinion... UK, US and canadian (which is the original release) copies are all going for £20-£40 on eBay. It's a widely known tune, partly because of the Band / Bob Dylan / Ronnie Hawkins connection, but also because of it being an old mod club spin (as far as I've heard/read) from the 60s. It's also been included on Kent's fantastic Atlantic material "At The Club" CD compilation.
  13. If anyone's got an original copy for sale, please PM me.
  14. Indeed and ALWAYS overpriced. This hardly ever sell on eBay for more than $25. A solid £15 record I'd say, and there are copies everywhere.
  15. OK, thanks for that. I know that there are many swedes on here, but I'm Sebastian not Christian.
  16. Any chance of an MP3 of the flipside?
  17. Great double-sider indeed. Here's an MP3 of "Don't Pity Me". (by the way, I heard this tune played over the speaker system just before a recent Elvis Costello gig in Copenhagen, and knowing that he makes his own mix-CDs to be played prior to his concerts... he sure has got great taste ).
  18. Fabulous record! Hard to find as well, so very decently priced.
  19. A friend of mine is selling his copy of Darryl Stewart's "Name It And Claim It" on WAND as a buy-it-now item on eBay. Check it out if you're interested: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=4798062922
  20. Very reasonable price on this one. A terribly hard record to find. Great frantic New Orleans stomper!!!
  21. I've heard/read lots of people complaining about hiss/surface noise/distortion/jumps regarding this record, but I have to say that my copy plays perfectly. Perhaps they used the vinyl stampers longer than they should've and the later copies came out sounding crap and the early ones sound good? I don't know. Mine is a green issue copy, never seen a demo. Fantastic New Orleans track!
  22. Allan Harris shouldn't be more than £40-£60 surely? I've never seen it listed for more than that anyway. Wouldn't mind a Ronnie Stokes either...
