  1. Mr. Magician - mystic merlin - capitol 14200 refosoul Very nice to see!!! Have always prefered their "Mr. Magician" though. Pounding stuff!
  2. Wish I Had A Girl Like You - all the people feat. robert moore - blue candle 14199 refosoul
  3. Love these. Still haven't got myself a copy of that Philip Wright 45 though. Wouldn't mind the Funky Nassau "Bahama Soul Stew" 45 on DRIVE either.
  4. Good stuff! Really like the above. Prefer the flip on Steelers though. That Steve Marshall tune is a bit of a banger, lovely jazz funk! And that Greg Perry is great, have played it a lot here at home lately.
  5. Rare local label release of this monster Stu Gardner double-sider prior to its A&M release:
  6. Don't think anyone commented on this one... but what an utterly superb tune! Does anyone know who the male singer in this tune is?
  7. Do Me Like You Do Me - john williams - sansu 14111 refosoul That's a good price for the John Williams 45 you've got there.
  8. All I Ever Wanted - bah samba - 14107 refosoul Perhaps not pure house as it's all live instruments... But this is absolutely fantastic! Just builds and builds!!!
  9. You Gave Me Love - kenny bobien - 14106 refosoul
  10. New Horizons - mutiny - 14105 refosoul
  11. Gonna Make It - kaskade - 14104 refosoul
  12. Power - glenn turner project - 14103 refosoul
  13. We Are One - urban blues project - 14102 refosoul
  14. I honestly haven't been listening to much soulful house during the past couple of years, but I do love it when it's good. Here are some tunes I used to go apeshit over. All of them a couple of years old and most of them my own shorter edits/re-edits... or "single mixes" if you'd like... Here we go:
  15. Everything You Touch (Turns To Love) - willie rogers - amg 14093 refosoul Bloody good tune, and at £60 very decently priced as well.
  16. About 5-6 hours left on these auctions now. Thanks for looking!
  17. Not really an issue/demo kind of thing... but here you have Pic & Bill's rare "Talk About Love" 45 on Charay on the left and then its ultra rare original release as The Fiery Spartans (vocal by: PIC & BILL) on the right.
  18. Rarer purple/pink issue copy of Tommy Neal:
  19. Th at's CHEAP. "Have I Really Lost You" is superb! Smoke_Have_I_Really_Lost_You.mp3
  20. I like it a lot and wouldn't mind a copy if anyone's selling. This was a big spin for someone at The Dome back in the early 2000s covered up as "Dean And Damonts - There's A New Thing". I seem to remember that it was uncovered at some point but can't for the life of me remember what the real artist was... Anyone else? Had kind of forgotten about this tune. Nice one. Thanks for reminding me!
  21. The Band! What a band!!! Love them! "It Makes No Difference" drips with soul. As does most of their stuff.
  22. I Would Be In Love (Anyway) - frank sinatra - reprise 13945 refosoul This has me weeping everytime I hear it. Emotional and soulful in the extreme. In my opinion, ofcourse. More than 50% of my records are "non-soul" and I get the same kind of satifaction from most of it as I get from soul music.
  23. Joel Diamond: Band Of Oz also recorded a pale version of it. Here's a short clip: https://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&a...:6dxsa9wgl2gd~T
  24. Bobby Fuller Four's version on Mustang is in my opinion equally good although with a different aproach to it. A real massive "wall of sound" kind of production which stomps along nicely. T hink I have a spare copy of the Mustang 45 here somewhere if anyone needs a copy.
  25. Chase Your Blues Away - funkhouse express - roxbury 13907 refosoul Stomp stomp stomp!
