  1. Now that's one hell of a good record! https://www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Miracle...r_Only_Knew.ram
  2. About 2 hours left on these auctions now. Thanks for looking!
  3. Stop And Make Up Your Mind - arnie love - tap 12" 15233 refosoul ...and one from the slightly more common "red label" one.
  4. Invisible Wind - arnie love & the loveletts - tap 12" 15232 refosoul I'm gonna keep hyping those two Arnie Love 12"s on TAP! Here's one from the very rare "yellow label" one.
  5. Man For My Lady - sabata - tsob 12"
  6. I disagree. Get the Ensign 7". Cheaper and doesn't go on and on and on and on. Superb tune!
  7. Where Is Love - eldridge holmes - deesu 15180 refosoul Not to mention the flipside on the Eldridge Holmes 45 offered for sale. A real pounding tune.
  8. Tell Her - jimmy (soul) clark - moira 15179 refosoul I agree, that Jimmy Soul Clark is superb!
  9. You Make Me Think You Ain't Ready - billy butler - okeh 15173 refosoul Love this!

  11. I Love You, Baby - pic & bill - charay 15170 refosoul One of their finest 45s in my opinion. Seldom turns up for sale.
  12. I've put together an MP3-mix featuring tracks from my current auctions for those of you who don't have the time to dig through all of the eBay listings. 13. That's absolutely superb news!!!
  14. I really like that Nick Allen on T.I.M.E and could do with a copy if anyone's got one for sale. A copy sold for £60 on eBay a couple of months ago.
  15. Thanks, Helena! Next saturday sure will be a blast! Really looking forward to it. And tonight will be great as well. Two saturdays in a row with soul events in Malmoe!
  16. I'll be guest-DJing at the mighty fine soul club Function (https://www.clubfunction.com) here in my hometown of Malmoe, Sweden next saturday (Lin & Jamie Taylor are coming over from the UK that night to DJ as well!) and I was asked to submit an MP3-mix of some sounds that I might play for their website so I threw together the mix which can be found below. It's heavy on the 70s/80s side of things, but there are some nice 60s soul/funk gems in there as well. I actually supplied them with another mix consisting of only 60s stuff as well but I've already posted that one on this forum (link). Here you go: 70S/80S SOUL/FUNK/BOOGIE MIX 2007-02-23 [download here] Arnie Love & The Loveletts - We Had Enough - TAP (12") Little Beaver - Listen To My Heartbeat - CAT Prince Johnny Robinson - That Girl Is Rated X - ANDEE Cojo - Play It By Ear - DESTINY Bob Williams - I'm Alright - NAD-LYN Ray Barretto - Together - FANIA Odyssey - Battened Ships - MOWEST (LP) Skip Jackson And The Shantons - I'm On To You Girl - DOT-MAR Sandra Phillips - Words - ASSOCIATED acetate (unissued) Angela Davis - My Love (Is So Strong) - FLAMING ARROW Swan Silvertones - If You Believe Your God Is Dead - HOB IS GOSPEL Billy Nichols - Shake A Leg - SUE Plair - Brother Man On The Corner - TARSAN Christian Plicque - Hot Foxy Woman - LECAM Vance And Suzzanne - I Can't Get Along Without You - VANTON (12") Larry McGee Revolution - The Burg - BOOGIE BAND Cappy & Stonewall - Bad News - LOVE CAPP Eastside Connection - Over Please - RAMPART Cecil Lyde - I'll Make It On My Own - ALWEST J.G. Lewis - What Am I Going To Do - IX CHAINS Ivan Neville - Dance Your Blues Away - COOKIE High Frequency - Summertime - NIA Gladys Knight & The Pips - It's A Better Than Good Time - BUDDAH Maurice Long - I Don't Love You Anymore - CYCLONE That's it.
  17. That one is really nice as well, especially "Stop And Make Up Your Mind", but it isn't as rare as the other one and can be had for about £30-£40 every now and then on eBay. Some label really should put together an Arnie Love/Arnie's Love compilation. It would turn out great. How much is there? Two 12"s on TAP with 3 songs each, then another two 12"s on Profile and one 12" on Radar. That's 9 vocal tunes and 3 instrumentals. Did he/they release anything else?
  18. Was Ivan Neville's "Dance Your Blues Away" on COOKIE issued on a 12"? Never seen one myself, but have been told that it does exist. How about Vance And Suzzanne on VANTON? Not impossible, but certainly not an easy 12" to track down. And that Arnie Love 12" on TAP with "We Had Enough" plus two other tunes on it is extremely hard to find. Yes, Lotusland has turned up a bunch of copies but when those are gone that will still remain a very rare record.

  20. How about the Canadian 12" issue of Gladys Knight & The Pips "It's A Better Than Good Time" which features the mindblowing Walter Gibbons remix? Not easy to track down.
  21. Yes, that's normal.
  22. Ok, fair enough. Think I'll keep the Ola & The Janglers and put it on eBay at a later date. Thanks for the offer though.
  23. Not that it really matters, but the Purple Hearts 45 is easily £100+ (in-demand by garage rock / freakbeat collectors as well). I wouldn't mind keeping the Ola & The Janglers in my collection, but as I said, if you want to have it make me an offer in cash or trades and I'll think about it.
  24. Make me an offer (cash or trades), but as I wrote, it's a HARD record to find.
  25. Haha! And here they are: For all you swedes, that's "Clabbe" (yowza! yowza!) at the top right in the second picture... Ola Haakansson who was in this group formed the band Secret Service in the late 70s and scored a european/south american hit with "Oh Suzie"... and then in the 90s he started the independent record label which released The Cardigans hit records ("Lovefool" etc.). The lot of them turned out to be music biz people...
