Stick them on eBay with high quality sound clips taken from the 45s and state exact condition of the 45s and let people make up their own minds. I'm sure you'd sell some of them.

I was pretty sure I would have that slung back at me... But I have to say that I really, really do dislike "I Can Feel The Pain" and "Sorry Is A Sorry Word". It's the vocal that puts me off. "I Remember When" on the other hand is a truly beautiful track. But it wouldn't be fun if we all agreed on everything. There are some nice unreleased Ivy Jo tunes though. Yep, sure does.

I totally agree with you. A truly superb tune! The flipside "I'm Just A Man" is also great. And I agree with you on "Chapel Bells Are Calling" as well. Will "Evening Of Love" be on there?

It looks like a Vee Jay distributed Atlantic 45, which seems weird. Haven't seen one myself earlier. This Atlantic catalogue number is from about the same time as Jimmy Hughes only Atlantic 45, and he otherwise released 45s on Fame during this time (who often were distributed by Atlantic around this time, 1966/1967), but some of his Fame material appeared on his first LP which was issued on Vee Jay... There might be a link in there somewhere, but I'm just thinking out loud...

It probably is, at least it certainly would make sense, but you never know. Craig Moerer has got six copies in stock right now at $1500 each. He sold another 2 or 3 copies a couple of days ago at $600 each. That's 8 or 9 copies turning up in one week and who knows, he might have more OR those up for sale now is all he's got. Time will tell.

It's 1969-ish to 1972/1973-ish soul. At least for me it is. I.e. the crossover period when production techniques changed a whole lot, but hadn't gone "full circle" into the "proper" 70s sound. Cue: 5 pages of debate...

I don't see the problem. The seller rips pages from old music magazines and sells them. There are two tunes in that Lotusland clip. Don't know if the first one ("Guilty") is available in any other version, but the second one ("Invisible Wind") was also released in a in my opinion vastly superior and much rawer version by Arnie Love & The Loveletts, also on TAP.

Everyone who has time to search for an item on eBay have time to make the most basic google search when they're in the process of placing a $100+ bid. I really, really do believe that.

Believe me, I'm not taking the sellers "side" or the bootlegger for that matter... and the item description is VERY fuzzy despite the seller knowing that it's a bootleg, but... if someone is willing to spend $100+ on a record... shouldn't they do SOME research at all first? If you do a google search for either of the following lines... honey & the bees love addict honey & the bees dynamite exploded ...the first and second result respectively goes to a Honey & The Bees discography which states the correct flipsides for both "Love Addict" and "Dynamite Exploded". Once again, I'm not saying that it's fair to list an item like this seller did, I'm just highlighting that people don't do the research that I at least think they should do before spending serious money on 45s.
