  1. It's now only 2-3 HOURS to go on these auctions: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking!
  2. King George Clemons (same guy that did a couple of 45s on US RCA) recorded a version of "My Baby Likes To Boogaloo" retitled "Boo-Ga-Loo" after he had moved to Scandinavia in 1967. It was only released on a 45 in Denmark. Can't find it on YouTube, but it's a slower, dirgier version.
  3. Earl White Jr. is also 100% definitely a bootleg in case anyone is still unsure.
  4. That one looks 100% wrong as well. Wrong typeface etc.
  5. Well, that Al Alonzo Wilson 45 is definitely a bootleg/carver. Just look at it, the label is totally wrong.
  6. Hello! I've just listed a bunch of northern soul, r&b and funk 45's on eBay. There are label/sleeve scans and soundclips to everything. Check them out at: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking! Take care. /Sebastian
  7. Mentioned this in the Satan's Breed thread, but might as well put it here as well. These swirly-look-a-likes look a whole lot like the stuff coming from the Pallas pressing plant in Germany (and its US branch). https://www.discogs.com/label/271440-Schallplattenfabrik-Pallas-GmbH https://www.discogs.com/label/632752-Pallas-USA https://www.discogs.com/label/277449-PO-Pallas https://www.discogs.com/label/137255-Pallas Some examples:

  9. It's now only ONE DAY to go on these auctions: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking!
  10. The United pressing plant in Nashville make 7" pressing runs these days with push-out centres: https://www.urpressing.com/7inch.php
  11. The differences are very subtle. During the first chorus on the 45 she sings: "talking 'bout a midnight, ohhhh, midnight affair we're gonna have a midnight, ohhhh, midnight affair", At the same chorus on the LP take she sings it the other way around: "we're gonna have a midnight, ohhhh, midnight affair talking 'bout a midnight, ohhhh, midnight affair", The vocal phrasing and the intonation of the "ohhhh"'s etc are also different on the two versions. Compare below. 45: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtqvKpwduPk LP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvV6ZgANpLg
  12. Nitpicking perhaps, but the version of "Midnight Affair" on the Demon LP is not the same version as on the original 7". It's a totally different vocal take on the LP version and has got slightly different lyrics as well.
  13. Hello! I've just listed a bunch of northern soul, r&b, funk and rocksteady 45's on eBay. There are label/sleeve scans and soundclips to everything. Check them out at: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking! Take care. /Sebastian
  14. That one is also very, very rare.
  15. Popsike shows 22 on Philips and 17 on Blue Rock. Might be some kind of indicator.
  16. Both sides were originally issued as M-PAC 7233. The versions on the Secret Stash bonus 7" are remixed into stereo though. A pity in my opinion that Secret Stash didn't press up some of the unissued tunes instead.
  17. It's now ONLY 24 HOURS to go on these auctions: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking!
  18. It's now FOUR DAYS to go on these auctions: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking!

  20. Haha! Ofcourse... Might just be coincidence then, have seen it on other 45's though.
  21. I don't know if this is of any help but the numbering on the Johnny Drummer 45 (PS-113183) should probably be read 11/31/83, i.e. mastered/plated on the 31st of November 1983.
  22. Most people buying that Jerms 45 is getting it for the "I'm A Teardrop" side.
  23. Thanks, Mats! I'm glad you enjoyed the mix!
