  1. This record seems to have been a fairly steady £300 (with the odd eBay one going for $800-$900-ish) ever since it was uncovered in 2002/2003 or so. I sold one copy in December 2003 for £270 and one copy in April 2004 for £300 if that's of any help to you.
  2. I'm glad you enjoyed listening to it, Val. Here are the records that I used:
  3. I've put together a new 78-minute mix of stuff I currently listen a lot to and play during my DJ-sets at Club Function (the club which I run together with Helena Stromdahl, Jonte Lindell and Joppe Odhner here in my hometown of Malmoe, Sweden). 4. I opened a thread about this about 6 months ago when I found a copy of the 45 because I never even knew that it existed (have always been told that it's LP/12"-only). I didn't find out much though and only managed to got ridiculed by a forum member who thought the 7" version was "ridiculous" because it wasn't as long as the 12"/LP version... Oh well! In my experience, the 7" of this is VERY elusive and I've only seen one copy for sale ever.
  5. Only about 4 hours left on these auctions now. Thanks for looking! :-)
  6. Following the huge success of the Elvis vs JXL remix of "A Little Less Conversation", Paul Oakenfold did a remix of "Rubberneckin'" a while ago. The promo video for it was all over the music channels.
  7. Type some extreme amount (500 or so) into the box where you fill in how many copies you want to buy, hit "place order", and then on the next page it will read something along the lines of "we're sorry, we only have 10 copies available of this record".
  8. Craig Moerer has got 10 M- copies at $20 each.
  9. I've always thought this was the case as well, but I guess this might have been "edited out" from the history of Motown. It sure would make sense with that Freeman Brothers 45 appearing on a Motown label for instance.
  10. About 2 days left on these auctions now.
  11. fifesouly, did you recieve my PM?

  14. I noticed the same thing with my auctions which ended earlier tonight. Despite some of them being in the $100-$350+ region, none of them showed up when I chose to have the results listed as "highest price+shipping first". I think it's due to some recent eBay changes and the fact that I haven't specified a shipping cost for any of my items, I always send out invoices by hand after the auctions have ended. Instead my expensive items showed up towards page 13/14 or so and with the "shipping price" column saying "not specified". I guess I'll have to start including the shipping costs when listing new items... I hope the above makes sense...
  15. Only about 4-5 hours left on these auctions now. Thanks for looking! :-)
  16. Mandrill left Polydor in 1975 (for first United Artists and then Arista in 1977). "Too Late" is from 1978 so it would really surprise me if you have a copy of it on Polydor. Are you perhaps thinking of their "Never Die" from 1973 which is another tune that has been popular on the northern soul scene? Or "Fencewalk" or "Hang Loose"? All of those are on Polydor.
  17. I agree, it's an obscure 45, but £100 is optimistic. I sold a copy of it some years ago for £40, but it sat in the sales box for quite some time before it went.
  18. Played this earlier today at home right before heading off to work: Billy Stewart - What Have I Done - CHESS A superb and sadly neglected tune in my opinion and copies of the original 45 are littered all over the internet.
  19. I've put together an MP3-mix featuring tracks from my current auctions for those of you who don't have the time to dig through all of the eBay listings. And even for those of you who aren't interested in buying anything it should make for about 30 minutes of nice listening. 20. Yes, you're right. Richard Berry did by the way record the first versions of both "Louie Louie" and "Have Love Will Travel".
  21. This is superb! Awesome ballad flipside as well.
  22. Check out his "I've Got To Hold Back" on A-BET as well, I think it's a superb punchy dancer. The original 45 is very rare, but the tune is easily available on the fine Kent CD "Uptown Down South".

  24. Yes, same tune.
  25. Craig Moerer has got 5 VG copies in stock at the moment at $40 each. Knowing his VG grade, a mint copy should go for about $60-$80. Was quite a hard 45 to track down a couple of years ago but copies seems to have turned up.
