  1. Apple Corps. it seems. But one could argue that, as the recording is 50 years old, it's now "public domain". Don't think the interested parties would agree though...
  2. Yes, a lot of people probably know it as it was included on one of the "King Northern Soul" CDs from Kent/ACE. Not the easiest King/Federal 45 to track down, but not especially in-demand either it seems, so it usually goes for £15-£25. Would go for more if it was popular. Great vibes-heavy ballad b-side as well!
  3. Yes, they did use PSR as their promo prefix on a lot of labels. Here are some non-soul things: PSR 355 - Suzi Quatro - Primitive Love / Shakin' All Over - RAK RECORDS PSR 359 - Paul McCartney & Wings - Band On The Run / Let Me Roll It - APPLE RECORDS PSR 368 - Cliff Richard - The Leaving / Nothing To Remind Me - EMI RECORDS PSR 369 - John Lennon - Interview / Whatever Gets You Thru' The Night - EMI RECORDS PSR 436 - Survivors - Pamela Jean / After The Game - CAPITOL RECORDS PSR 442 - Kate Bush - On Stage EP (4 tracks) - EMI RECORDS PSR 476 - Sheena Easton - It's Christmas All Over The World / ? - EMI RECORDS
  4. Can't stop laughing at this one... Would be good if they at least got the title right... They all look horrible to me. What a complete and utter waste of time and effort. The mind boggles.
  5. While I'm at it... here are some danish Jack Hammer 7" sleeves and US Soul, swedish Tamla Motown and turkish Youngblood "Swim" label scans:

  16. The original (local) release of "Give A Man A Break" is on UPLOOK. The later national release is on ABBOTT. An absolute monster tune on either of the labels ofcourse!
  17. I couldn't agree more.
  18. Thanks for this info! Have added it (and the correct Creations b-side) to the list above.
  19. Didn't know that. Can't remember anything about a label called "Overture", but I don't have them here in front of me right now so can't check.
  20. Does anyone know if the fifth volume was issued on CD by Charly? I've got the 4 first volumes on Charly CDs and they've got 14 tracks each. I assume they were just straight CD issues of the LPs (I only have volume 1 on vinyl so can't compare tracklistings).
  21. Only about 3-4 hours left on these auctions now. Thanks for looking! :-)
  22. The JAN 45 has got the same combination of short version / disco version. And I seem to remember that the 12" on JAN has just got the "disco version" (the flipside is a tune by Zebra)
  23. It's "Never Gonna Let You Go" by Jobell And The Orchestra De Salsa. Seems like a different take than on the JAN label 7" though... The released version is faster and has got strings in the background.
  24. Would be great to hear this as well.
  25. It's "We Got A Problem" by Larry Banks on SPRING (#105). Sounds like the same mix/version to me.
