It's about £30 tops IMO, i bought mine when it first started getting plays a while back for £40. Loads came up very quickly, seemingly from same seller on Ebay. Sold mine since though, so not sure what rate is now........still cant see it being above £30 though. Azza

Hello all, I'm appealing to all those that attended Prestatyn weekender just gone to get in touch if you know anything about the below. I personally didnt attend and am simply doing this on behalf of the affected people...... I've just found out that Trevor & Ann Heath from Wales had their banner pinched from the main room. This is what they put on their facebook: "What a great time we had at Prestatyn.....Chuck Jackson was awesome.The weekend was marred by the fact that our Northern Soul North Wales banner was stolen from the front of the stage.We have had the banner for many years and it is well travelled on th...e scene so it will be easily recognizable. Whoever has taken it will not be able to display it ANYWHERE, so it will be of no use to them whatsoever as they are made to order and it is a one off. It's beyond belief that someone on the soul scene would stoop so low as to do a thing like this or maybe not as we hear of DJ's having records stolen, our banner was not as expensive as many DJ's records but it has great sentimental value to us. Anyone involved with these despicable acts needs exposing.We look on the Northern Soul scene as our extended family obviously not everyone has the same feelings, would you steal from your FAMILY????If anyone has any information please contact us or any of our friends" I've attached a picture of them with the banner. Trevor's the guy on the left and Ann next to him. They're two of the nicest people you'd ever wish to meet and have been through some pretty horrific times in their lives over the last couple of years. So whilst this banner may not mean much to the average joe bloggs, it means alot to them. If you know anything about who took it, whether it was a mistake / accident or blatent theft, Or saw anything, please get in touch. Could just be a misunderstanding but i really hope we can get the banner back to these wonderful people as it has true sentimental value to them. Tenner a piece, offers on individuals or for the lot i'd say mate. Fi-dels is the only one that stands out as poss £15. RE goldmine 7's, i banged a lot of 15 on ebay early on this year and got about £120 which i was quite pleased with.

Recently attended the Soul In the Sun charity night in Keighly. Was a good night, great music following the SIS theme re music policy, so you knew what to expect. All DJ's played for free, as Eddie always makes this the case for his charity events, and proceeds (including raffles etc) go to cancer research. Eddie does boat loads of stuff for this charity, and i would indeed support charity nights, but like Joan said, only if musically it was to my taste, or perhaps a charity close to my heart. Interesting the point in the title about profits......Not many of the 'smaller' do's (mainly non nighter events) make profits these days, and if they do most just re-invest into the night (through promo, records, DJ's which may cost more etc).
