  1. Just wondered what the going rate was for this tune. Didnt think it was rare but doesnt seem to come up for sale that often. Is that cos it's a great tune and people dont want to part with it? P.S did anyone listen to Steve Jefferies show on Sunday morning on Solar Radio? He played two cover ups at about 11.30 and i'd love to know em! One was gospel ish, one was intro'd as The Stairsteps i think. Cheers Azza
  2. Got some cracking 70's modern bits in the offering including Clyde Milton - i'd rather leave on my feet and Korla With Klass - Stop before you start. Also some other great tunes like John Gary Williams, Jackey Beavers, Ann Sexton etc......... https://shop.ebay.co.uk/themightyrhino/m.html End this Sunday from 11am
  3. Cheap as chips Kieran. Landy McNeal and Voice Masters are absolute bargains!
  4. Vinyl has scuffs and some scratches although plays really well. Some noise but barely audible given the usual big production on Tamla. Great for DJ-ing as they say! Free p&p on this (1st class recorded). Half list prices at £50! PM me if interested for payment details etc. Azza
  5. Open to offers on these. there's a Dwight franklin listed on here for a lot more at the moment!
  6. Bit of an enforced sale on these bits unfortunately so priced to go. Can't upload mp3's using my iPhone and don't have full access to t'internet til tomorrow but if you want an mp3 of any of the below just pm me with your email address. I think I've got one for most if not all listed. Postage is £2 1st class recorded, or £5 special delivery Uk. £2 Europe, £2.50 anywhere else standard airmail, insured optional at extra cost. PM me if interested. Would listen to reasonable offers. Cheers Azza CLYDE MILTON - I'D RATHER LEAVE ON MY FEET DISCO TAC, £220 vg/vg+ has some marks and lights scratches but plays well with a bit of noise, not as audible on decent system. Great for Djing as they say. DWIGHT FRANKLIN - FOXIE LYLA FRANKLIN, £125 Ex, slight water stain as with majority of originals, vinyl in top nic ANN SEXTON - I STILL LOVE YOU SEVENTY 7 DEMO, £30 vg++ has a few pops in first 15 secs of intro then plays superb, tough to find on demo. NORFOLK - TOGETHER BARBARA JEAN, £25 Ex, practically unplayed JACKEY BEAVERS - TRYING TO GET BACK TO YOU GIRL DADE, £20 Vg+ has some light marks and a wol but plays superb. Proving popular these days is this one. Thanks for looking, Azza
  7. That Beverly Crosby tune is seeeeeriously good! Don't see it often
  8. Jae Mason, top tune! And soon to be seen at a bigger price tag I reckon
  9. I agree Nev. I don't use Snipers as much as I probably should. Only really when they end at stupid o'clock. But I think in terms of original post if you're not prepared to bid higher than the other person is prepared to bid up front (whether in hindsight you wouldve happily paid more to bag a bargain) I don't see why you should then moan if you lose out..........I will openly confess to such moans which does make me a hypocrit! :-)
  10. Plenty of great events about, big or small, nighter or non nighter, OVO or non OVO. Everyone has the right to say what nights are krap and what aren't - you pay your money, make your choice, you can voice your opinion etc. Nobody rules the roost and needs permission to start a night. Does this thin things out?? Well only if they're all the same type of night. Would a hard core oldies classic person attend a rarest of the rare underplayed soul night if all their oldies nights stopped? Probably not. People like what they like and there's plenty of options for them to go get it. Nights will come and go, it's just part of life
  11. Or just bid more. Fact is, if someone uses a snipe and out bids you, they've still outbid you. No matter what method used, they were prepared to pay more. Tis an auction after all, win some lose some
  12. Think i saw a Dynamics promo for sale on here not so long back, about £200. Do a search as can't remember who was selling. I've got teh checkmates. Normally, i hate people saying 'make me an offer' in wants section.............This is one that im not really wanting to sell, but if the prices is right i may consider so feel free to 'advise me how much you'd be prepared to pay' Azza
  13. I'll have the Bobby Valentin for a quid!!! Or is that just a typo?
  14. 15. Hi folks, Made a couple of reductions on previous sales, plus added to the list. Usual drill, Postage £2 first class recorded UK, £2.50 standard airmail. Insured / special delivery optional at extra cost. PM me with interest for payment details. Sensible offers listened to. Cheers Azza IDEALS - MIGHTY LOVER, BOOGALOO £65 £60 VG++ (some scuffs. as with most copies, print on label slightly faded, hence lack of 3 figure price!!) PLAYS EXCELLENT! DWIGHT FRANKLIN - FOXY LYLA, FRANKLIN £140 £135 EX (superb condition apart from water stain as with majority of originals, DEFINITE ORIG!) ANN SEXTON - I STILL LOVE YOU, SEVENTY SEVEN (DEMO) £40 VG+ (Some marks, just a couple of pops at start, tough to find and nice looking white Demo!!) PLAYS EXCELLENT MEL & TIM - FOREVER AND A DAY, STAX £70 EX- (Plays superb, minor pen mark on label)
  16. Just under two days left, great tunes in there
  17. Fair enough Nev. I have a water stained original for sale then. Will edit my post to say 'most' originals instead of 'all'. Yes great tune, and great price :-)
  18. Gotta raise some quick fundage so begrudgingly letting these 3 in demanders go, and at cheap prices! All play better than graded and have added comments about sound where needed. PM me if you're interested. Cheers Azza IDEALS - MIGHTY LOVER, BOOGALOO £65 VG+ (some scuffs and marks, as with most copies, print on label slightly faded, hence lack of 3 figure price!!) PLAYS EXCELLENT! DWIGHT FRANKLIN - FOXY LYLA, FRANKLIN £140 EX (superb condition apart from water stain as with most ORIGINALS, definite orig) ANN SEXTON - I STILL LOVE YOU, SEVENTY SEVEN (DEMO) £40 VG+ (Some marks, just a couple of pops at start, tough to find and nice looking white Demo!!) 19. Going really cheap at the moment!! End next week, 23rd November...... https://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item2c58dade22 Cheers Azza
  20. That Deep South is class modern George. Picked one up at Cleethorpes in the record bar and haven't stopped playing it since! Azza
  21. CANT believe Vamp hasnt gone. Seen it go regularly for at least double that price!!
  22. Well get buying them up in bulk in the States then and keep your own prices to yourself, or at least off other people's sales posts!! One sold for the same price in the sales section of Soul Source on the same day, so either both these sellers and the buyer are completely wrong or that is the going rate in the UK for what is becoming an in demand record. Either way it's unfair to come on someone's sale thread and wreck their sales like that.
  23. Couldn't edit my orig post on iPhone so just a quick one to say second batch of records ending tonight (10th November) at 10.45ish onwards https://shop.ebay.co.uk/themightyrhino/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25 Lee Moses still a bargain!! Seen battered ones go for 200 nicker. You won't find one in better condition. King Arthur, mac Davis, jackey beavers all mega low at the moment, 2-3 times under going rate
  24. One on ebay at the moment i think, can't remember who's selling it though! Sure it's being advertised in ebay links section from this site
