Some Pricing And Boot Info Please
Liljimmycrank replied to Liljimmycrank's topic in Look At Your Box
Cheers Pete, genuinely dint have a clue what they were worth. Funny that you're the first to reply as the jay boy one has a small printed stamp on the label by the words 'pete smith' anyone know about the othe fidels version, boot or not? And value (or is that a tenner too?) -
Been given a box of tunes to sell for someone, and come across a couple I was unsure on price, and one whether it was a boot or not. Don't have a manship price guide so was hoping you lot could help please? The one I'm unsure if it's a boot is Fidels - Try a little harder, Vee-Jay blue label. I do have manships small boot label book thing and it says is that this could be a legal issue? Any ideas?? If legit/orig, what's the going rate please? Prices also on these please..... Fidels - Try a little harder, Jay Boy Young Hearts - Little togetherness, Minit Bob Kuban - The cheater, Musicland Cheers Azza

Just bagged myself a Lois Johnson, fantastic tune. Think Mr Moerer has one but listed on ebay, but is up at double going rate in my opinion.

Ey up Ken. No need to apologise for mentioning what i played in the freestyle room at Rugby. I certainly won't be offended that you don't like a tune someone else has played, it wouldn't be the first time! ha Will openly admit it's not the most soulful of records however its certainly danceable and felt like a good time on the night to stick it on; the dancefloor reaction suggested i was right cos it was full for the duration of the record. It's a bit like Stanky get funky, and that RL Burnside thing. I think they're both sh*te records, not very soulful etc. However people like them and can dance along to them so DJ's give em air time. RL Burnside would've been better suited at the Hacienda in the early 90's in my opinion! Fact is it's horses for courses really. Some people liked it on the night and on here afterwards and said so (freedom of speech and all that), some on here don't like it. I certainly didn't big it up before putting it on, nor afterwards or on here. If others have, that's their choice. If it goes massive, great. If it doesn't, i won't lose any sleep. I'll write you a credit note for the 3 minutes of your life i stole while you stood in the freestyle room and listened to it mate! Azza
