  7. Moving house, going on holiday and other stuff to drain the finances all suggests that the record buying's gonna dry up for a few months...........SO...............Thought i'd have a bit of a blow out with some of the cheaper end bits I want. I've got a small pot of cash for these, might not be enough for all. If you want a slice of the pie, PM me (or txt 07968174086) with price and condition. I've no preference as to priority in the list so it's basically BEST PRICE IN RELATION TO CONDITION gets the dough!! 11. There's 6 stardust copies on eBay at the moment, most with bids and between 15-40+.........craziness!!
  12. Sad thing is though, it will only be able to stay open if it stocks loads of dub-step, cos that's what the kids are into these days apparently
  13. The volt issue pops up a lot more than Ovide. I got an excellent price on my Ovide issue which funded something nice (didnt see the point in keeping both)!! Cheaper Volt issue still in my box, but that's staying..........unless i source an Ovide issue at a good price and then they'll switch places again
  14. I always associated these 'look-a-like' boots/re-issues with northern oldies, but it seems the less mainstream tunes are now even being booted. For example, just seen that Continental Showstoppers has been re-issued (not usre about legality so couldn't comment). Now i know the Continental Showstoppers is not exactly classed as an up front sound anymore, but it's not exactly an oldie either. It wouldn't be played at oldies nights on a regular basis i wouldn't have thought. Begs the questions then, why re-issue it?? It's not rare, not that expensive and whilst there is demand for it in terms of having the sound on a record format, the demand would probably not be that of say Yvonne Vernee, which seems to be a popular bootleg piece. And the audience buying it (i.e. 'the demand') would likely have an OVO policy.
  15. Other than those listed in my sales post earlie this HAS to be the bargain of the day!!!!

  17. Rumour has it that there's going to be a new record shop opening on East Parade in Leeds soon. Not sure what it's going to stock (records obviously, but what genres??). Supposed to have a 'chill out' area too where you can indulge in a mock-a-choca-chino coffee or whatever they're called
  18. At a guess i'd say folk looking to shift on some rare bits, quick search on the wants forum, then answering wants (but overlooking when thread was posted)
  19. Inell Young has a legit 2nd issue/release. Dont know how to tell the difference, but it's probably obvious.
  20. I always thought the danceable version (upbeat one in the first youtube clip) was the LP version Mace?
  21. That's what the thread was asking for though - your favourite latin tinged northern tracks. Some great one's mentioned so far, and some really nice latin soul tunes (certainly not northern but awesome none the less). The Jade - Siesta is over, would probably fall into the northern latin style.
  22. That Buddy Miles LP has a couple of excellent LP only crossover grooves on it. Well worth £15 of anyone's money
