Think that's the point we're trying to get to chalky.......as potential buyers most of us don't seem to be able to see how many other watchers there are on the item we're watching. But it seems some can. The screen shot is from a 'buyer' rather than a seller, I think??
-
Logged in to eBay.com I'm watching about 40 live items at the moment Can't see 'number of watchers' anywhere, just the usual number of visits and number of bids. Baffled
-
I'd be keen to know how many are watching the items i have in my watch list, so will log in to Ebay.com from now on They;re re-branding soon, new logo coming

My 'All time' is shorter than most on this thread, but i'd find it hard to choose from one of the following two soul records, mainly because they each mean very different things but linked by how they made me react............ Tomangoes - I'd heard quite a few northern records in my early days of listening to soul, mainly northern when i was 13. Shook me to the core and made me realise that this is the stuff for me! The first day when i started to 'get it'. Secondly........ Fred Williams - My first European weekender experience in Hamburg and this beauty came on (via Marc Forrest). Goosebumps that went right down from the nexk to my short and curlies, what a f*cking record. Builds and builds, that guitar work is so subtle but makes your insides churn. And the vocal just oooozes soul; pain anjd anguish wrapped into 2 and a half juddering minutes. 2 records that stopped me in my tracks, 2 records that i'll probably never own, but will always dream of owning

List Updated And Some Reductions And A Few Adds
Liljimmycrank replied to Ernie Andrews's topic in Record Sales
Nice price on Gene & Eddie. Some nice tunes in there -
Ernie Andrews had a frankie crocker for sale on here only a couple of days ago, cheap too!
-
You'll find him on Facebook too, Steve Clancy. And for the record (no pun intended) one of the best sales lists I've seen this year!!
-
Mary Staten a bargain, and The Turnarounds well worth a few quid of anyones money
-
Issue seems to go for about £60-70 Dave. Demo wise, i missed one for £140 on ebay (didnt have the dough at the time to bid more), but i'd suspect it would fetch a touch more than that in a set sale.
-
Missed out on the promo a couple of months back on ebay, was gutted!! Can't say the issue will ever grow on me, but thats the beauty of soul music and how different it sounds through others ears.
-
Sounds bad to say the word "better" in the same sentence, but Ikea. I've currently got my TV on top of a nice square unit, that subseqently is made up of 4 'cubes'. Stick a few of these nest to each other and you've got yourself a good set up to put decks, mixer etc on top. Plus LP's and 45's underneath in the 'cubes'. Blakka boxes are very good though, in terms of the company itself. They're custom made record boxes are excellent so i would imagine the rest of their work is of equal standard. It all depends what you're after really. For blocks of records stored in one neat place, probably not the ones in your link as id be worried about stacking them. But they sound perfect for what you're doing
-
£25-30 if you want to shift it. I had mine up at 30 for a long time and it didnt go, then dropped to 25 and it went straight away, but with your reach you should get 30 Pete
-
If they could be fastened / clipped together i'd be tempted, as you can then add more as your collection grows. However as stand alone items, i think there's better options on the market which offer a more stable structure, decent protection and probably cheaper
-
If I didn't love it do much and play it at TDB I'd let you buy mine Phil :-) Will keep an eye out for one for ya mate
-
Rickey Andrews is an absolute bargain!!!!
