How did it get released after the Inner Ear release then ?? Are they hard as well or easy to pick up ??
The UK Right On release should set you back about £30 tops I'd say
-
What about the reissue on Right On from the 70's...wasn't that legit?
-
Which could lead to another thread - Finest Single Artist Northern Soul Album !!
For quantity & quality it's got to be "I'm Gonna Miss You". You could play any track & people would dance !!
Awesome album right the way through....solid as a rock that one

Family of Eve - I Wanna Be Loved..../Please Be Truthful.

Happy New Year to you too buddy...you just woken up? It's the 11th you know...must've been a good'un

OK heres another sucker for ya.....same questions as before
1. CRYSTAL GRASS - CRYSTAL WORLD
2. Not got a spare, dead easy to find. US Polydor 7" 1st issue if I'm not mistaken. Came out on British too(Polydor if memory serves me...or was it Philips..or both..one of them) and probably also a few other country issues
3. About £5-£10 ish depending
-
I would have said a bit more than that on a 45 - i've always sold @ £25+ no problems. It's pressed much louder on the LP though so i've never kept a 45.

Nice on 7" though ...I just crank up the gain. Speaking of records, did you get my email yesterday regarding sommat off your list...?
-
LP is also out on a lookalike reissue (apart from the label). LP (Cadet?) was fetching up to about £150 early 90s but wasn't anywhere near impossible, still got a copy left in the rack, quite nice, maybe $75 max for an original now? Track was on a compilation called Got To Get Your Own at the time. Was unaware that it got a UK issue when it was first out, is this a reissue?
Not sure if it got a British LP reissue/release at the time but the 7" is British only, isn't it?
-
Woul any of you clever people
1 know what this is?
2 Have one for sale?
3 How much?
I know it's a bit funky but hey what the eck!
Thanks in advance
1. REUBEN WILSON - GOT TO GET YOUR OWN
2. DON'T HAVE A SPARE FOR SALE
3. ON 7" (British only) about £10-£15, on the album quite a lot more.
Great track

Nice tune this for a late 70's track but who is playing it out and about? If anyone is
No-one I shouldn't have thought. From memory I don't recall it being very good (it's been a couple of years since I had a few, though...green label chicago thing, or maybe I'm thinking of something else?) Soundfile might help if you have one.

I've just been playing the Brothers of Soul cd "I guess that dont make me a loser" on Collectables and track one "Try it Babe" grabbed my attention and I thought next time I see that in a box I'll get that, had a look on GEMM nothing doing, had a look in TBs price guide, not mentioned. The sleeve notes state "the groups second Shock release and final record featured Ben Knight on Try it Babe. It was a splendid release, but apparently the jocks did not agree because it failed to get much airplay" I cant be bothered to dig out Label listings etc so any ideas on value/availability etc.
Best
BH
Sure the last few times I've seen it listed it was around £75 or somewhere near that kind of figure. The flip (Candy) came out an earlier issue so be careful if buying with that side listed.

Clip should be attached of the Phillips

Hi Steve Flanny here got a 12 of this wots it worth yellow label ?????????
best Flanny
£25
-
I like this too. Top sound.
Whilst on Willkerr anyone know how the Ike Strong record "Your love keeps me dancing" got re-recorded by a group called True Image? That one has always puzzled me.....
I think there's a link between the producer of the Ike Strong and True Image. James Terry produced Ike's track and I'm sure he was part of True Image, hence having a go himself I suppose.

Hi
I don´t know nothing about this record value,
can you help me?
Best
Jadd
please PM or mail stadio00@yahoo.es
A few turned up on ebay around the same time late last year...about the £75 mark at that time I think. Nice record, did consider selling mine a while back but no. It's on Wilkerr and was the same group (or featured the same leader) as the Infinity on White Horse.
-
Hey, they don't sing "Your love... is like a merry-go-round.." on this do they? Am chasing a sweet soul track with such a chorus.. !
Could that be Gene Faith - Your Love Is Like A Merry-Go-Round on Virtue?
-
if anyone has one of these for sale, i would be very greatful
( not sexual favours / sell my children / give you my car greatful, just give you my hard earned greatful )
Got good taste that Gaz geezer ...expensive taste, but good taste.
-
Anyone got an audio file of The Meters - Loving you is on my mind, the vocal version?
thanks in advance
Matt
Only got the version on the flip of the 'People Say' 7" and that's only a few seconds shorter than the LP cut, so unless it came out again, not sure there is a full vocal version...but no doubt someone'll correct me. Sure you've got this one but the 7" version should be attached...it's got vocals albeit not loads.

Try me is getting a fair few plays out of late
Good stuff Can pick 'em up dirt cheap as well, which is always nice.
-
Sorry bout dat - Syl Johnson.
Picked up this little powerhouse at a car boot two weeks ago and I just got round to playing it. It's a bit knackered and I guess it's not a high ticket disc, but what a good groove.
Anyone ever imagine hearing it out?
Colin
Prefer the flip (Different Strokes), but prefer 'Try Me' (the version on the yellow label, not the Blue/White issue with 'I Feel An Urge' on the flip) to either of them. I'd have thought 'Try Me' would be a stronger candidate for playing out, which I'm sure it does but probably not en masse.

Looking for Ujima - I'm not ready - Epic and Jeanie Tracy - Making new friends - Brown Door
Let me know please if they are available
Many thanks
Neil
Try Butch for a Jeanie Tracy...think he's got my old copy. Seen a few previous owners, that one, but should still be playable.
-
Can only play one at a time, not everyone is as clever as you TWAT  .Anyway been pulled of many do's lately? You know what i mean don't you?
No, but I heard he got pulled off at many do's and continues to do so by request. The Cumby bogs never saw so much action
Hope you got the record, Wally.
-
jason, i never accept anything you say as the truth, since you tried to convert me to the dark side, FUNK i think you called it
Wise man .
Cordial 12" ain't bad. Not entirely convinced by the lead's voice but not a bad effort.

TERRY CALLIER - I DONT WANNA SEE MYSELF - ?

If you go back to the Aycliffe reply from about 3 months back you'll find the answer, unless you thought I wasn't telling the truth, then
