  1. Dan, try Max for the James & Incredible Showmen
  2. Pretty sure that when it comes to the final part of the transaction you have to specify who's paying the fees - recipient or sender - can't see paypal giving away their commission.
  3. Got what I think is a boot on Musicor but could anyone confirm the details on a real one. Cheers
  4. Think at least twice that - not an easy on to pick up at all and I suspect not that 'well known' as yet...sure once a few more people hear it the demand will outstrip supply: kind of the sound that a lot of folk are chasing at the moment. "Everybody Walking" isn't a patch on 'Rain In My Life' imo...bit too rocky.
  5. 20% off all marked prices on 45's listed - click here for list
  6. Slightly confused about this. Thought the autographed copies (with the arranger's name) were the new (year 2000+) pressings not 80's pressings? $305 for an 80's press can't be bad, even though it does look like the recent repress that Cole did... https://cgi.ebay.com/...6QQcmdZViewItem
  7. It just paves the way for a well designed, well placed, well advertised competitor that specialises only in music and understands the needs and requirements of sellers. All it takes is someone with a good business brain, a rock solid business plan and all the anecdotal eveidence from disgruntled and alienated sellers to put it to the Dragon's Den for some backing. It's almost like ebay want to drive their sellers away.
  8. Pretty sure there is a 45 - think Keb had one.
  9. Passing this on ----------------------------------------- Soul brother records have just purchased a very good singles collection that includes a lot of 60's soul mainly on UK labels, Tamla Motown, black and red atlantics, Blue Stax, Sue, Stateside and some sought after northern soul sides, all in incredible condition, along with some good 70's modern, rare groove and funk 45's.. click HERE to see all the titles They are still sorting through the collection there are another 200 60's 7's still to be graded and listed which will happen during the next 10 days, so its worth checking back.
  10. $30 seems a bit steep for a new issue, though https://cgi.ebay.com/...alenotsupported

  12. List updated. Lee Brackett seemed a bit oversubscribed and no wonder too. Awesome two-sider that could go huge!

  14. £500? Scratch that, then. Call it a grand
  15. I'd have said the exact opposite. Vocally the Intrigues does it all over the BB Ltd and the production is a ton more alive. Blues Bag just sounds a bit tame in comparison, especially in the vocals. The old 'scarcity deafness' sometimes creeps in
  16. Awesome record, you'd easily be looking at £500+ on it I'd have thought
  17. Just updated the set sale list on the site including the R.D.M Band, Freddie Wilson and Willie Bobo's killer Jazz funk dancer 'Gotta Hustle on'. Also offers on the super rare Russell Gordon. Plus details of the albums ending on ebay on Saturday inc. Gift of Dreams, Sam Dees, Ronn Matlock, Spread Love and more. Can be seen here www.soulstacks.com
  18. Not sure you could have picked a worse song to illustrate the words 'great' and 'soulful'. I think any 'modern' DJs playing that would be chased out of the building and birched! What a shocker!
  19. Maybe this is the 'boot' Cole was on about when he first contacted me about this. He was on about EMI booting it in Europe or something. Maybe what happened was he tried to sell it into EMi who either didn't give him the fee he was after or 'forgot' to pay him or neither and did pay him but didn't turn him into a mega star(?) Whatever's true, top thread resuscitating!
  20. Walked past your shop in Richmond at 9am this morning. Closed. It said 'open at 11am'. You must be far, far too rich. This is probably also best in the "rip the piss out of the Shep" section.
  21. Talking to Nev yesterday, simple answer: yes! Think they are coming from Dwight in bulk...they were being picked up for about $20 a pop or something. Not sure if he's run out of them but by all accounts he had most of them stashed away (hence the water damage labels)
  22. Trace of Smoke. Talk to Me
