could be him ???? but you can't ask him the request...however for napoli quotation and for his surname...something from italy here!!!
Looks like it's the same guy "This British radio show played my song, "I Believe In Miracles" (the original version with me singing it) on January 17th, 2010. Hit PLAY and scroll to the 78-minute mark and start listening. Now, I just wonder if, how and when I'm going to get my royalties from this. :-)"
edit* ah, see you'd already answered that one

Rex Garvin & The Mighty Cravers - You Don't Need No Help (WSJ) 60
Is this the vinyl or styrene press?

Ah, sorry - from memory thought it was German

Reissues have the Engineer's name : Fred Carfagna on the label under the Artist/Title credits, originals don't (though sure someone on here said they have an OG with the engineer's name on the label.) Elijah Cole repressed them with the Engineer's name a few years ago...should be able to get one for $20 on ebay. He insisted that all issues prior to him repressing them in about 2004/05 ish were bootlegs because (quote) 'I hadn't released it'...even though he pressed them in the 70's and gave them out as promo's. The boot he was refering too, done by EMI, turns out to be the German release which apprently he hadn't consented to.

Killer and just not seen nowdays. Not helping you much but mine'll go to ebay in the next few weeks. If you're still needing it keep 'em peeled.
-
Got a sleeveless copy for offers. Was told these were used as promo copies before the sleeve was done (?)
-
What are you offering on a super clean Rivage?
-
If it's in Ex condition then that looks like a reasonable price imho?
Near mint Steve...sleeve and vinyl

Echoing the comments re: the Welcome To My Room LP. The track "Love Is All We Need" is worth the price of the LP alone

James, I remember that night after Deep funk when we stayed at Keb's and you and Keb sat at his PC late into the next day whilst he 'educated you' about northern using Soulclub to point out the tunes you ought to be buying. It was a sort of strangely portentious Darth Vader/Frankenstein type scene : a monster being created right there at that computer, all done with a few clicks of a mouse. Don't underestimate the power of the internet in creating tomorrow's nightclubbing monsters.

The Office of Fair Trading is also seemingly 'against' sellers - if the letter of the law was followed, sellers wouldn't be able to charge customers to have their goods insured as according to the OFT that is the seller's responsibility(!) (Para 3:20), as is the safe delivery of the goods (even though as a seller you pay the postal service to handle that duty) Ebay by making that statement are only applying paragraph 3:36 of the OFT guidelines in relation to Distance Selling.

Hi, I'm looking for this album on vinyl after downloading it and I cannot find it anywhere (UK)! The few places that did stock it are out of stock. Does anyone know any retailers that may have this LP in stock? It was only released in June last year and I can't find a copy!
Thanks all.
Incredible album, too!
Here's the link for Soul Brother's stock >>> Lee Fields

Christ Shep are you trying to see how many times you can buy and sell this one!
The Arcades IS a stunner!
-
Pretty well known amongst funk buyers - sold mine April 08 for £75 for what was a fair and proper and typical price...then one goes for $305 a year later. Oops!

Lovely record - one here

Cheers mate and atb for 2010.
Sean
....ooh, I'll join in, too
I'd been trying to license 'Leave Something Worthwhile' and a few other cuts for a 45 from a 5 or 6 track CD I had from the producer around 2003 for about two years before eventually giving up as he didn't seem that bothered in the end and also didn't seem to know who or where Gene West was. The group name he had was Gene West and the Electric Word - now called The Relatives.
Glad to see someone persisted and finally got the stuff out there - the other stuff sounds good. Hopefully they'll stick LSW on a nice loud 45 - lots of potential in that one

Oliver Christian - Dissatisfied man (LeGrand) Fantastic rare dark and moody crossover dancer. Has a small scratch which causes a click for a few rotations, nothing to worry about but will grade as (VG+) £300
Had this on the decks this morning. Forgotten how good this is - he's a miserable sod but what a killer record!

Firebolts-Everybody party-Greenback, Every copy on ebay has sold over the last 6 months and each time for a little more, someone is buying them. Great Crown Heights type dancer
Strange...was sure it was a £15er tops...wonder what the better one by them would fetch nowdays
-
Nice tune that "While You Were Gone". Early sounding.
-
Baz try Craig Moerer - got them at $40 (6 in stock)
-
visua rocka on ebay seems to have stock of these maybe try them?

...nice label and all that but which desperado is paying $355 for a record that normally struggles to make over £100 these days
My mate's barely hobbled home at £50 in October
Ebay Dropping Free Postage Scam
in Look At Your Box
Posted
Wasn't Ebay's 'justification' for doing this down to the fact they THEY felt they were losing out to competitors because buyers having to pay postage (both at the correct or vastly inflated price) was affecting THEIR business, regardless of the loses sellers had to take. Selling some LPs for a mate, starting at £2.50, those that sold for £2.50 made him about 90p after fees/postage. Hardly worth the effort.
