Mixed bag here - some brutal records on this list! PMs good or email soulstacks@gmail.com All clips taken from the copy for sale. Ellipsis - People/ Gregory Moore (Briarmede) (EX) £2750 Hear Hear One of the best copies I've seen of this highly indemand funky modern gem. The all important side ('People') plays near mint - loud and crisp and hard: surface wise there are light marks, no deep gouges. The flip ('Gregory Moore') has more scuffy marks, though in truth, you're wanting this for the other side. Please check the clips, they give an indication of the play quality. Slight wear on the label on both sides but this isn't battered by any stretch. Still such a great record. The Changes - Doin' The Crackerjack/ Amen (Marti) (VG) £35 Hear Crowd scene jazzy funky number, backed with a proto Amen Brother instrumental. Mario Allison - Oh Yeah/ Cuando Sali De Cuba (J&G) (EX) £75 Hear Totally obscure latin 45 that doesn't list on Discogs (at the time of writing) Liberty Belles - Shing-A-Ling/ Just Try Me (Jay Boy (UK)) (M-) £25 Hear Classic northern floorfiller on a shiny UK issue. Bill Brandon - We Fell in Love While Dancing/ We Fell in Love While Dancing (Prelude) (M-) £20 Hear Good soulful-end-disco action. 6 Pak - There Was A Time/ Midnight Brew (Trip Universal) (M-) £850 Hear Absolutely brutal version of the James Brown classic. Proper agro-funk in full effect here. Flip has one of the several versions of 'Midnight Brew' too, so soulies are catered for. Dynamic Concepts - Funky Chicken/ Now That You've Left Me (Dynamic Sounds) (M-) £300 Hear Immense, brassy, big band funk banger. Hard! Scorpio And His People - The Unforgiven/ Theme From Movietown (International Hits) (M-) £1000 Hear Dark edged private funky soul moodiness one a 100% original issue. Seldoom shows near mint. The Majestics - Funky Chick/ Coming On (Morsound) (M-) £750 Hear Never sounds old. E.H Moore's best moment on his own imprint, and one the glossy black 100% original, not the slightly grey/black issue. Near mint. The bomb! Zebra - Simple Song/ I Forgot To Say (Zebra) (M-) £600 Hear 70s funk/soul blend from Georgia that actually saw two waxings! On issue has the producer's name the other hasn't! This is the one that doesn't have the producer's name and doesn't have the publishing details, either. Ohh, double-rare! The Outlaw Gang - Funky Fast Bump/ Weed Hopper (Rudi) (M-) £900 Hear Personal favourite - two equally matched sides of funk glory. Does he say 'ha ha ha Weed Hopper' at the end of 'Funky Fast Bump'? Who were these dudes?
