  1. Kev, I think you mean the 'Beep Beep!' on The Attractions - Destination Is You - Bell See you Saturday. You up Friday at all?
  2. Yeah but it was never released on Rampart (Majestics). Poster was quite cool though. Barry White - he was certainly part of the group early on but I don't think he featured on this particular disc though.
  3. I've got one of these if anyone wants it a little cheaper! CLICK HERE
  4. Pretty sure there was thread about David/Ruben and The Majestics in which a promo ad for The Majestics showed a Rampart copy of the song by them. I thi nk the poster may have been 'doctored' though. Anyone remember this?
  5. Just played it and your right. The Warriors track is Arnold McCuller's version according to the film soundtrack credits. They should have used The Dynamic Superiors, it's better! The Sultry voice was the female DJ who played the song.
  6. The Dynamic Superiors I think. Good version. On the Motown label (UK at least).
  7. They are all quite stunning but all pale in comparison to this lady in my eyes...
  8. It also prevents disappointment on arrival when the advertised night doesn't produce what it claims to.
  9. It's not 'speed' ........it's in his genes. Interplay? Time and place. As everything has/had.

  18. Hey Hey! Nice one! Not seen this before. Send it to Dave Rimmer and he'll update the Rojac listing on his SKM website.
  19. I have quite a few of the Hip Pocket records and keep discovering new ones. No surprise that Chess, Atlantic and Mercury seem to be the front runners as far as the soul/RnB ones are concerned. Has anyone ever seen a Philco Hip Pocket Record Player? I've seen an adverts for one but never seen one 'in the flesh' so to speak. If anyone has one I'd be intrested in buying it, or could point me in the direction of one I'd be extremely grateful.
  20. Saw him do this on Jools Holland. Liked it. Will buy it. It's a great record by a great vocalist. Soul? mmmm...Maybe not but I've heard worse at some venues!
  21. I have 19 and I think there's about 25. (Maybe even a few more). I'll try and find the list and post it. Have you any of the TOPPS cardboards? I need the Miracles to complete? I'm also looking for the Philco Hip Pocket stuff if you have any?
  22. Hi Pete, I'm presuming you mean the Mini Lps? I had one, I've just searched my hardrive and I can't locate it. I'll have s further dig around my notes and see if I can find one.
  23. I'd buy one anyway. #6 on my wants list and it's been there a while!!
