  1. Try Brian Proust (Agent45 on here). Regards, Dave
  2. He was interviewed and then played on the Andrew Marr Show about 6 months ago when in UK. Great story. Came across a really good bloke too. Good spot Pete. Regards, Dave
  3. Vocal Groups - Third Edition Has anyone got a copy of this? Any good? It came out on a CD as well as a printed version. Regards, Dave
  4. If you mean appearing in the US, just type Chitlin' Circuit into Google and go from there. If you mean appearing outside the US then acts that had a hit would make the trips but you were never gonna get The Trannells turning up at the local Lacarno eh? Regards, Dave
  5. Thread moved to more appropriate Forum. Dave
  6. Look In Your Box. Regards, Dave

  9. Anyone got a copy they want to sell at a decent price? Thanks, Dave
  10. Yes, it is kosher. The pic sleeve was part of John Madara's "That Philly Sound" project. John Madara and David White produced most of Len Barry's Decca outings including the LP that this track was part of. Hope this helps. Regards, Dave
  11. Yep, one and the same Richard. Regards, Dave
  12. Couldn't it be part of Joe Srevenson's deal with Bell? What are the other 45s on the logo? Any Stevenson connection on them? Regards, Dave
  13. It's a tough 'un, especially in great condition. Looks like two Motown collectors who both need it. I've seen a few over the years but never a minter. This one looks to be in decent nick. Lot of $$$s though eh? Regards, Dave
  14. Here's The Lollipops of Impact/VIP fame: There are a few of us who suspect that these young ladies may also be The Sequins of the Detroit Sound label too. The photo below is also of a three girl group of the same name that I thought may well be the RCA group but they don't look to be the same girls as the French EP pic AND at least one of the girls could be in both photos. Regards, Dave
  15. If you use a good quality wood glue and remove/lift the whole thing off in one piece you can actually play the glue 'record'. I'm sure I've posted a video of this before in the past? Regards, Dave
  16. Thanks Kev, I also have the record but no picture cover! Damn! Regards, Dave
  17. Am looking for these in good nick. Any help appreciated. Regards, Dave 45s: Supremes - Nothing But Heartaches - Motown White Promo (West Coast Styrene Map Design ONLY). 19. It's site etiquette to post an intro in the Freebasing Forum under 'Intros'. It tends to help when posting so folks know something about each other. Please post an intro when you get a minute. Thanks, Dave
  20. Nice one Eddie lad. Regards, Dave
  21. Never seen that? Anyone have a scan? Same logo as the green or WDJ copies? Regards, Dave
  22. Flip it over for a fantastic JImmy Wisner arranged midtempo outing. Regards, Dave
  23. Chris Patrickson. You can send him offers too. Regards, Dave
  24. Thanks Nick, that's great info. Very useful. The reason I changed from Grado to Shure WLs was that exact same reason. I love the Grados and will continue to use them at home for sure but they are certainly to suceptible to shaky hands or bad eyesight! LOL! I've done the change now so I'll ensure I have a few spares needles for the WLs before we start and have a couple of new Stanton V3 500s I've still got, just in case. Damn! I thought I'd solved this problem. Regards, Dave
