    If it is a multicolred label with the promo text on it and is made of styrene then it is a West Coast Monarch pressed DEMO. If it has the song on both sides then it is certainly a promo. If it has a different song "Stay My Love" on the flip but STILL has the promo text then that 's the one most Motown collectors would prefer. If it's same sided : 75 maybe. If it's double sided 100?     It may well be as I haven't the 45 but compared it to a youtube vid which made the Ebay one sound very 'fuller' especially at the bottom end, with that 'chink' a lot more profound. At $430 it's a bit of mute point now for me as that has completely scared me off! Regards, Dave

    I've had this while. Kimberly has done a great job. Thoroughly recommended for anyone with even a passing interest on how these theatres (and especially this iconic one), operated. A great read with some fascinating anecdotes from people who lived it. Great read. Regards, Dave ,

    The rarest VIP 45s in my experience are the West Coast styrene multi coloured promos. Somey of them are also double sided as opposed to having the same song on both sides. Has any Arctic collector got copies of these they could scan for me please: Arctic 103 - Volcanos - Baby b/w Make Your Move Arctic 131 - Kenny Hamber - Anything You Want b/w Ain't Gonna Cry Arctic 157 - Jimmy Bishop - Through The Eyes Of A Blackman b/w Mr Charlie I'm looking for a good scan at minimum 300dpi.     I am currently trying to arrange for promoters and a couple of artists from the Philly Area to be hooked up with a view to performing in UK. As anyonw who has undertaken these tasks before will tell you, there's a million and one considerations and the planets need to be alighned in order to pull it off. Mervin and Melvin have established a musical awards promotion and I'm sure, under the right circumstances could be persuaded to appear in UK. I think Kenny would also be more than happy to appear in UK/Europe again, though I'm sure John (Roburt), will have better info on his circumstances and arrangements. Regards, Dave
