  1. Ok Guys, 10 days in and the votes are still trickling in so will leave this to run for another 4 days. Pied Piper closing in on 2nd place with Gamble and Huff. Regards, Dave
  2. Hi Paul, There are pics of John at a booksigning last year with paperback copies. Has anyone a contact email for John they can post so we can see if he sells them direct? Regards, Dave
  3. Anyone know where we can order a paperback? Regards, Dave
  4. OK Guys, Clear leaders now emerging. There's just no way to include every single worthy producer(s) down to an infinite level. Those that have followed the polls over the past few weeks will realise that Van McCoy was listed and, some would say surprisingly, didn't make the cut as did a few others. I'm happy that the most popular producer(s) in relation to 'our' music have been featured along the way. Will let this run for another week as votes are building up, after all it's only a straw poll for fun's sake. Thanks to everyone who's voted so far.... Regards, Dave
  5. Ok Guys, here we have the Top 8 nominations from the 3 Semi - Finals. Only one vote per person...It's gonna be a close run thing judging by the earlier rounds. Glad to see HB Harnum get a good percentage just missing out on a final place. Who gets your vote? Regards, Dave
  6. Ok Guys, I'll sort the final shortlist out and have the list of finalists up shortly, thanks to all who have voted so far. Regards, Dave
  7. Unfortunately not, I've had to whittle the list down to a manageable level. Regards, Dave
  8. OK Guys, Time to choose a favourite individual producer. The top two will go into the final with the top three from the previous 'semis'. Tough call.....there can be only one! Regards, Dave
  9. OK Guys - Round 2 voting now closed. Final semi final round next .... Regards, Dave
  10. Last chance to get your votes in for any of the above.... Regards, Dave
  11. I've tried to keep it as manageable as possible so if your particular favourite didn't make this shortlist, check out Round 2. If it didn't make either of the rounds......ah well, maybe next time. Regards, Dave
  12. Ok Guys....ding ding...Round 2. I've added a third round now to include individuals who I think should also be included. The top 4 from Rounds 1 and 2 and the top 2 from Round 3 (Individuals) will go forward to the Final. Regards, Dave
  13. The easiest way is to contact the seller through the Ebay auction page and ask him to send (resend), you an invoice with the correct shipping costs. You then pay that invoice. Worked for me lots of times. Regards, Dave
  14. Exactly...... "There can be only one" (said in in the best Kurgan voice). Regards, Dave
  15. Ok, maybe in hindsight there are other ways to do it but my intention was to have two sort of 'semi finals' and progress the top two from each into a final of 4. I'm not sure how we'd do it as a rated poll (1-8) but I'll look into it. I'll leave this here for another 24 hours and the look at putting the second round up then. Regards, Dave
  16. OK Guys, Last chance to vote before I put up Round 2. We'll then have a final round of voting in THE FINAL. Regards, Dave
  17. There's a Part Two to this poll......then a final! So you can vote within this group and then in the next one before reach a final show down. Regards, Dave
  18. If you could choose only one...which one?
  19. It's Nashville Mains stamped on the original. Surely that's the easiest way to tell it from a boot? Regards, Dave
  20. Hi Paul, I've investigated this also but have found that at the moment the cost negates any chance of it happening soon. Graphics however are a different story. Funny how record companies will allow you to show their record labels in order to promote their wares but won't allow you to place snippets of their goods (songs), in multi media to support any promotion of it. For instance...how much would you charge for a snippet (one minute, say), of the Harthon catalogue 45s? Regards, Dave
  21. Sure thing Richard. The note is part of the K of Kimtone and with it being so long it won't fit on a sheet music. Regards, Dave
  22. Yep, #9 is Kimtone. Se ya'll next time.... Regards, Dave
  23. OK - The last label (#9) is a logo that has produced a rare record from a group that has a number of Northern outings under it's belt including an extremely rare one on a Singleton Production. This particular record is also extremely hard to find. Here's a little more of the logo showing a colour scheme that may help ...
  24. Nope. It's a musical note. But is slightly mis-shapen. It wouldn't sit on a five line stave. (Clues over)! Dave
  25. 2 to go.... C'mon S-Sourcers, don't let me down! Regards, Dave
