  1. My neighbour told me when he was young and had been naughty his upset mother chased him round the house and as he was making his getaway out the back door she screamed at him "You wait till I catch you Ill wank your legs" Never been able to work that one out!
  2. Manship does have a copy of this for £30.00 , heres how he describes it complete with his spelling mistake not mine. Come over to my side "Cxhicago, ilA northern soul chicago classic that has disappeared from dealers lists, and sadly djs boxes. after listening to the sound bite you'll wonder why this tune isn't blasted out at oldies nites. fantastic full orchestra, girl group and the kitchen sink! " Bought this off Ebay myself recently and could'nt agree with the description more
  3. Think someone has asked this before but no Craig Westwood formerly of Sedgley/ Gornal.
  4. Thats pissed on my bonfire then  Oh well you learn something new every day.
  5. The delta number on mine is 65L - 9290 -1 on crazy side.
  6. I have the original of this which i bought around 15 years ago for 50p and it has the same shakey label print defect as your on Bell bottom side.Mine is yellow white design both sides. Re issue has delta # 95372 in the run out groove..
  7. The way you've been smelling lately - Al C--nt. - Bit Sic 123
  8. What(erman) - Judy sweat
  9. My Waterman is a sweatman - Millie Jackson.
  10. Fortune smeller - Benny Smellman.
  11. Here is what Manship says.. Counterfieted label is yellow.Original is both orange and yellow(rarer)but has a matrix stamp in the dead wax that looks like 2 oval circles with a centre dot with a V running from the centre , very obvious. Also bootlegged on yellow "Trans Am" label (No handshake logo)
  12. Dont know if its very rare but I've got a Spanish picture sleeve 45 by The Hesitations with crap spelling
  13. Right then Ill do another poll from a DJing perspective
  14. Trevski beat me to it
  15. Good idea Ill stick a poll up now Brett. Will be interesting to see the results but i think i know what the overwhelming winner will be
  16. Quite right , playing a set with entirely boots is totally wrong , its as bad as playing CDs but what is wrong in a DJ mixing one or 2 re issues in a set of originals. There is nothing wrong with this in my opinion. I could name 10 re issues off the top of my head in my collection I would gladly mix in (maybe one or 2 in a hour set) with a set of orignals.
  17. I have a collection which consists of many original records and a few boots and re issues and have no problem with listening to or playing either out.Mixing in a few re issues with originals is no problem to me. My biggest problem is some of the same old shit and crap which should not be played at soul nights in my opinion. I would rather listen to a set of quality soul music and if the DJ plays a couple of boots so what!!
  18. The delta number scratched in the styrene boot run out groove is #102402.
  19. Apparently Trevor all original copies (not many) have some sort of skip or jump which was done in production.I bought a copy of this off a flea market around 10 years ago for 20p and listened to it many times and convinced myself it had the fault which it didnt really have. As for vinyl boots cant help on that one. Craig.
  20. Yes thats the seller. I thought I'd upset him by paying just $4.00 for the record. Whats your excuse?
  21. Heres the evidence. Shitsville USA pants.bmp
  22. Ive recieved records packed in strange ways but todays has to be the worst. A 45 arrived from the States in a mailing envelope wrapped up in an adult incontence pad! It was wrapped around the record and sealed with the sticky things on the sides. The only good things where that the record was undamaged and the pad was un-used.Anyone else had records packed like this? What sort of feedback do I leave now?
  23. I agree a great double sider although I think House of gold is the stronger side. Her sister Dionne even admitted Dee Dee was the better singer of the two. Another worth a listen by Dee Dee is Dont you ever give up on me on Mercury 72738.Cheap and a great flip too.
  24. I remember him Pete he was areal tosser , allways had large unsorted soul and other collections and sealed Lps (by himself) for auction and blamed most of his negs on rival sellers. All his positives were for selling milk vouchers for $0.01 each! He got kicked of Ebay some time ago , probably trading under a different name now.
