  2. I did a thread about this earlier on in the week because i bought a copy off Ebay using buy it now for $100.00. The seller must have a load because he is feeding them out one at a time. They have sold 24 copies so far this week and have one currently for sale again at $100.00 buy now. https://search-completed.ebay.com/_W0QQcatr...rZ1QQsofocusZso
  3. Superb love making tune as mentioned in an earlier thread. https://the.soulclub.org/stream/Flash_McKin..._Rescue_You.ram
  4. Just to slow things down a bit or speed things up whichever may be the case what are the best tunes to have playing in the background while making love if you can manage it nowadays. If not what would you recommend from past experience. Lets have a laugh anyway . Heres my suggestion. Anything by Tammi Terrell. Please post soundfiles if possible.
  5. Ive got The Dells Running for cover playing at the moment so I click on Audacity to open the programme and the recorder appears. There is a box with 6 options - Line in - Aux - CD Player - Video - Mic - Stereo mixer. Click on Stereo mixer and then record and it records whats bieng played through your speakers. Line in records from your deck ect. You can then edit if you need to and then save as lets say Dells - Run. Hope this helps Pete. Worth it in the long run especially with a bit of practice especially the editing tools which are superb! You might need to convert to MP3 but you can get tools easily for this.
  6. Another way to do it would to record from source (Anything that is bieng played through your PC speakers) using a sound recorder. I use Audacity which is a great tool and is totally free which you can download from here. https://audacity.sourceforge.net/ You can record from source , save and then with a bit of practice learn to edit. I think you can even remove vocals to make them into instrumentals.
  7. Its crap.Put it on Ebay.
  8. This is all assuming there will be a market & demand for this type of music in 20 / 30 / 40 years time.
  9. Can upload better quality images of the above if required.
  10. Top 100 rarest UK motown 45s from 1991.
  11. Just look at this the way a load of copies turning up of a so called rare record can affect prices. This is taken from The Record collector magazine from September 1991. Check out Danny Moore - Somebody new !!!!!
  12. Totally agree with you Trev , Rock n Roll bordering on R&B something i couldn't listen to along with 70s disco shit but will probably re sell it sometime in the near future hopefully with profit
  13. Bought a mint promo copy of this tonight off Ebay for $100 using buy it now but I am a little concerned that there a quite a few copies of this turning up lately. Anyone got any info if a boat load of these have been found because this was the second one by the same seller to be sold using buy it now today.
  14. Im just sitting here putting a few things on Ebay listening to the latest programme from The Soul shack . Some great stuff bieng played. You can stream or download at - https://www.soulshack45.com/id17.htm
  15. Here's 2 superb tracks taken from the Lp Everythings coming up Dusty on Philips. 1.If it dont work out. 2.I can't hear you.
  16. Ill attempt to upload a 6 pack with uptempo tracks taken from 60s soul/motown Lps tonight.
  17. Billy Harner - Quality ??? I think not link
  18. Most of the above mentioned were prolific recording artists maybe with the exception of Billy Harner or Darrell Banks so they dont really count . A lot of them recorded a lot of non dancers or went on to record some dire 70s disco releases which outweigh the quality 60s output. Deon Jackson springs to mind as ratio of dancers to releases , everything released by him was sheer quality.
  19. A couple or three of my favourites. Sally saying something - Billy Harner. Here she comes - Dusty Springfield. Just a fool - Jerry Ganey. (photo)
  20. Has anyone heard anything about the batch of original Frank Wilson Do I love you 45s that an American record dealer supposedly turned up recently as reported by a Soul Source member who claimed to be buying one off him or was this just bullshit as suspected , because this story has gone very quiet.
  21. The Columbia 2nd issues with the small 45 also have stamped matrix numbers in the run out groove.
  22. My neighbour told me when he was young and had been naughty his upset mother chased him round the house and as he was making his getaway out the back door she screamed at him "You wait till I catch you Ill wank your legs" Never been able to work that one out!
  23. Manship does have a copy of this for £30.00 , heres how he describes it complete with his spelling mistake not mine. Come over to my side "Cxhicago, ilA northern soul chicago classic that has disappeared from dealers lists, and sadly djs boxes. after listening to the sound bite you'll wonder why this tune isn't blasted out at oldies nites. fantastic full orchestra, girl group and the kitchen sink! " Bought this off Ebay myself recently and could'nt agree with the description more
