  1. Never really liked much of what Eddie Floyd did but this is excellent Pete. Really like it While your on here Pete do you know much about this record and label as I havent a clue
  2. Cut and paste this link into your open URL in Windows media player and it should work OK. https://www.wfmradio.org/wfm.m3u
  3. Its you thats corrupt Dave not the link Its working fine here just listening now. just a slight worry as Sylvester Potts has been mentioned and will be on around 10pm but no mention of Chalky. Hope he's made it OK. Any probs I'm recording it and I'll put it on a CD for you if you cant connect Dave.
  4. Dont forget Chalky will be on live on The Right track Radio show with Sylvester Potts in just under a hour . You can listen online between 9 - 11pm. Dont miss it! Try this link the one he's given is the wrong one WWW.WFMRADIO.ORG Click listen live when the page opens. I will record the show and post it up on here and on my website if anyone cant make it.
  5. Bought a mint Loma Bobby Reed I'll find a way recently off Ebay for $41 which has given me more listening enjoyment than what I would get spending a $1000 on something. Pure class for peanuts.
  6. I agree with you Tony. I bought this for the other side Do the jerk which is a uptempo stomper but discovered this on the B side which is just wonerful.Everyone should own a copy of this.

  9. If anyones interested I'm selling a 240v Bush MTT1 compact turntable with a built in amp so you can plug in to your PC and record your records. I use the same model myself at home and they are fantastic little players. The one I'm offering comes unboxed but is complete , basically un used and is in full working order .There are a few light scuffs / scratches to the lid where I've stored it.See photos.Cant recommend this enough! I want £15.00 plus £8.00 P&P in the UK. Paypal only.PM me if interested. Bush MTT1 Compact Turntable It is dual-speed (33/45rpm) and has a cueing lever to lift/drop the arm. It also has a 'reject' button to lift the tonearm and return it to the rest and auto-stop the platter. The unit has a built-in, switchable pre-amp to enable it to be connected to stereos without a phono (turntable) input. The speeds can also be adjusted using small screw adjusters under the unit. The 7-inch platter is cast aluminium with a thick rubber mat, and the total dimensions are (WxDxH) 28mmx34mmx9mm which enables you to put this turntable in many places too small for conventional full-size units. The turntable comes with: Magnetic cartridge with stylus Phono output lead Mains lead with plug EP adaptor ring Cartridge/stylus cover What Hi-Fi magazine raved about the MTT1: "Great timing, separation, dynamics and even clarity", and, "The sound's not only clear and listenable, but awash with detail", I was certainly impressed with its performance when I bought it for £49.95 -
  10. Great stuff Chalky , hope you make it back alive after hearing the horror stories you'll face out there after talking to Ian on Sunday morning at the boot sale. You should have taken him with you. Don't fancy your chances much On a serious note I'll be listening to the show and will record it and post it up again on my website.
  11. I heard "Kwik Save Artist" played once while walking round a Supermarket.
  12. Think it over - B B King - ABC Bluesway
  13. B B King on an obscure ABC Bluesway release which could go pretty big in the right hands IMO.
