Pete Why did you pay that much money out when you get tons of free storage download limits and embeddable players on Div share and Box player and it dosent cost a penny. Isn't that auction player that big ugly coloured thing with a microphone on it the skips backwards and forward when you move your mouse?

Gil Bernal This is worth fighting for RCA 9261 Just listen to the lyrics on this song its enough to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Good enough to be a national anthem. Absolutely stunning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RK17tqXQt6E

The Three Degrees - Are You Satisfied (Swan)
Craig W replied to Lambrettagp200's topic in Record Wants
Strange one to price this. Seems to be in heavy demand. Some of these have fetched hundreds of pounds. Last couple of Swan demos I've sold have been around £40.00 to £50.00. Last issue on Ebay fetched £108.09 a few days ago. Item number: 271041157823 -
Yes ikea do a great selection of various sized units in their expedit range which are great for Lp's or 12" records. they come in all sorts of colours and prices are pretty cheap and they are rock solid. I have 2 of the large16 hole units to store my Lp's secuerly in. Each hole holds around 90 Lp's. https://www.ikea.com/...s/series/09064/

Here's some bags I have from the original Oldies Unlimited that used to be in Worcester Street Wolverhampton.Anyone remember it.Must be a few years since it closed down. There's a current Oldies Unlimited in Darlington Street but as far as I know this has nothing to do with the original shop.

I have some original old glossy black and white photos of a Department store in Liverpool called Blacklers which I found in a house I cleared some time ago. Most of the photographs depict a flood and show staff clearing up in various departments afterwoods. One that has always intrigued me is one partially showing what looks like "Record Corner" It looks like there is a selection of 45's and Lp's? Does anyone have any info on this store , date the photographs could of been taken and what was sold in record corner as I can find little online.

Go ahead Punk make my day!! Thought I would share my strange buying experience with you from today. Got a call this morning from someone quite local saying he had a small mainly punk rock collection was moving to Scotland and asked me to call round and have a look and make an offer if i was interested which i did. He had the records in two boxes and an LP case on the living room floor and explained the first box was all punk 45s the second was mainly Punk lp's and the third box which had over 300 45's in it in his words was full of rubbish and he would throw these in for free if I bought the Punk. Anyway i had a good look through the punk singles and Lp's then took a quick flick through the first 10 or 20 records in the rubbish box and it looked like he said - complete rubbish - mainly 80's picture sleeves from the few I saw. I made him a resonable bid which he was happy with - not a bad punk collection really ,I was very happy. I took the boxes home and thought I'll sort through the box of "rubbish" 45's not expecting anything but was surprised to find about 30 nice Northern soul 45's in there. Perhaps the nicest one was one from a personal point I remember wanting a few years ago when it was a big sound and remember making a bid of £80.00 on one on Ebay to be refused. The record in question was Touch my heart - The Vonettes on Cobblestone. Got given to me for free by a Punk. Anybody got any similar stories.

Dont think there is a download link with Soundcloud but if you click on listen on soundcloud com link below the player and then cut and paste the websie url into the box in the highlighted link below and then right click and save as option it will download the show or playlist. This is a great site as it downloads most things without a download option. https://offliberty.com/

The label has Don Gardner Orch credits on it. Apparently from what I heard and remember from some time ago this track was played to Don Gardner at Prestatyn maybe and he denied any knowledge of it and said it was definatley not him on the vocals!

Sylvia Robinson on 1973 Irish London. Picked this up this week and had to look twice at the label. The UK labels were using the boxed London labels at the time. Strange that the irish were still using the old black and silver labels from the 1960's!

3 Irish Pyes Why has Footsee got a production date of 1968 when it was actually produced in the 70's?
-
Whats this fetching nowadays Pete. Was around £25.00 a few years back but was a hard record to shift for some strange reason.
-
The Contessas - Keep on keepin' on - E George clements 402. Bought this record assumed it was a black group when I heard it but was very surprised to find its blonde haired blue eyed soul of the highest order when I saw this video on You Tube. The lead singer suzanne Weir has a beautiful voice. Think there are a few label variations.
-
Can't believe Neil Reed - Not as beautiful as you - Music Now has'nt been suggested. Pure Detroit crossover perfection

Just an observation but is the backing on this great track the same as The Groovers I'm a Bashful guy on Minit? Sounds very similar.

Was going through some bits on You tube the other day and found this clip from a 1987 film called "The In Crowd" of Tina Britt The Real thing. Think it is a kind of Jerry Blavat type teen dance theme. I believe it has a great soul soundtrack with The Contours appearing live etc. Has anyone seen this film as I would love to watch it in full if its any good! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQKcfJFxG-k

The Divshare site is up and running but it is the players and download links that are not working. I have contacted customer support and advised them of the problems.
