Has anyone any info on this recording as a US buyer has just offered me $40.00 to end the auction which makes me wonder. Any info / price on this as I might take up his offer if its a fair reflection of the price.

I think everything points to Don Gardner now after reading the comments. Just recieved the record this morning , think I'll give both sides a spin at The Connaught in a couple of weeks.

1 out of 50 Seriouslly its a nice gentle ballad but a bit weak IMO.

Fantastic record this , bought it recently at the right price. Northern soul mid / uptempo at its very best.Highly recommended.

Probably sent around a thousand Lp's using these and never had any problems whatsoever so the answer has to be yes.

One similar to these with two carboard stiffeners. Could'nt tell you the make and model number though. Oh and by the way I allways take the record and inner sleeve out of the cover.

Thanks for all the suggestions and advice but I'll just put it down to experience , claim my fees back and re list it. I wont neg him because I'll probably get one back. Yes Jo that is almost certainally The Contessas on backing. The Don Ray Sampson is at the top of my wants lists at the moment. One came up on here in Sales a couple of weeks ago at £25.00 and sold faster than a Vicky Entwhistle DVD on Ebay.
