Just a quick mention of an upcoming monthly event to be held at The Hollybush on the main Penn Road Wolverhampton WV4 4HU just a few minutes from the city centre. It will be held in the posh function suite which is 150 capacity and has a superb real wooden dancefloor and very reasonable bar prices.It has a massive secure car park. Resident Dj's are Craig Westwood and Hitsville Chalky and special guest for the first night is Little Scotty. Musically it will be Tamla motown / northern and club classics mainly from the 60s /70s. No chinstrokers rubbish will be played just dancefloor classics. The first night will be held on Friday October 26th running from 8 till late. The second night will be held on Friday November 30th. The Christmas alldayer will be held on December 28th running from 4pm till 1am. Future guests to be arranged. Admission for all dates is just £3.00 Although these dates are not ideal due to clashes with other venues they were the only ones we could secure for this year. Whats your opinion of this? As far as I know totally obscure and unknown?? Sounds like a white group / singer but I like it. I've heard a lot worse anyway.

Jusy dug out and played (Loneliness made me realize) I'ts you that I need b/w I want a love I can see on Irish Tamla Motown TMG(I) 633 (great double sider by the way) and just wondered if the whole Motown catalogue was released over there , are they rarer and what is there value compared with the English releases. Anyone got any info. Thanks

Played You cant bypass love at the Marrs bar on Saturday and it sounded great loud. Wonderful flip in Give me lots of lovin'. Far superior to Change your ways and a lot cheaper too! -
