  1. I have the same yellow version , sold in the past but was returned as buyer said he was told it was a boot several weeks after
  2. I don't think it was ever repressed with the push out centre

43.50 at the moment. Shakes head
  4. The slow version by tonny hymes is on youtube if you want to hear it. There are a couple of uploads so quality may vary
  5. he is also selling that toby bullard so glad which is just a pressing of the lyrics so glad on gnp

Even the promotional reissue mafmon thing is fetching about 30 / 40 quid now ( I think this is a boot due to song credits being different to the original pictured on youtube , and one being darg as was a big spin for keb lol ) The boot on a buy it now for £6 on ebay Original must be an arm and a leg and possibly a kidney
  7. Hey girl.is not the track listed on the label. They mispressed an unreleased track On the label it lists think twice before you walk away as the track but plays hey girl. Hey girl is not listed on any released label It was big when butch covered it up as the peppermint men
  8. make sure its the beige label as this is the one with the mispress
  9. A £30 to £40 pound record that usually sells for between £70/100 due to the hype
  10. Not been booted as far as I know
  11. Dont take any notice of the Harold Melvin version its a piss about with slowed down vocals done on a pc
  12. Another great night. Shame i could not stay for the later sets. Great venue and sounds ☺ anyone for pizza ?
  13. Went to buy a record on here by a well known seller / business , I rang them up and agreed to pay the price they listed it on here but they claimed they had missed the 1 from the price of £120 as it was listed for £20 so wouldnt sell it to me I was gutted as had a buyer already for it for £100
  14. Damn you and your high bid lol , I will have to get carvers cut now of the ones i want ;) but at least i can go on facebook for good pictures of the labels to go on them ( joke )
  15. So the pack that cost you £1000 contains 300 £3 records £900 if you took the swap deal 14 look a likes could be sold at £50 each= £700 50 free records =£50 700 records at £1 = £700 That is not a bad deal in my eyes nearly 2 and a half times what you paid in total
  16. Probably because he is a record dealer , I am sure that people will buy these , probabaly not the upright non boot playing members on here but others elsewhere. Do you really think Pete would offer £700 just to have a back up set. There are a few of the records in there would purchase to play at home
  17. lol yes should have put a smily face there ;)
  18. Well he could sell the sleeve and give the record away free with it as not to be seen to sell bootlegs
  19. He has just been offered £50 each for records that he got for free by Pete who already has a set of them , if people are prepared to pay for them then there is a market , he could get back most of his original stake and have the records from the pack as well or be £1000 out of pocket and keep the boots he wont play
  20. I would have thought that the next few soul packs that are sold would contain a lot of good stuff as Ian would have to make them value for money to try and get future orders and show that some people are happy with them , If the next buyers thought they were poor then it would put an end to others wanting to buy
  21. The trouble with offering part refunds on a pack is that people could go through it , take out the ones the like , can sell on or are worth more than say £10 and complain about the rest . Its a lucky dip you get some worth more than you paid , others less , some you like others you dont. With a mixed pack there will be all sorts of genres , one mans rubbish is anothers type of tune
  22. It has been said that you were offered 300 different 60s records for the damaged ones from the next incoming shipment to replace the ones that would not play properly that are usually sold for £3 not the £1 plus you were given 50 records and the set of bootlegs so that is 64 records on top of what you paid for. You could have not said anything and sold the bootlegs online to cover a large percentage of your outlay if you were not happy , If you paid via paypal you could have contacted them to see about getting your money back. I will happily take the 14 new records from you in exchange for 14 others , all originals and not ones from my soul pack and will not sell them on or play them out djing , then you wont have to look at them
  23. Could you not just swap the sleeves for any of the ones on the 300 that didnt play. 14 new sleeves cost about 70p If anyone wants to send me free records i can supply my own sleeves
  24. It depends really , If its a set played with thought and thinking of the tracks from someone who has taken the time to understand and has ripped the tunes from the original cds then i wouldnt complain as long as it wasnt an ovo night If it was a johnny come lately with the top 500 bought from ebay for a tenner playing ruby andrews moses smith frank wilson etc then i wouldnt be interested.
  25. I will try paying with monopoly money at the strip club if the ladies have fake breasts lol
