  1. If it is a large amount for something get the seller to send you an invoice, that way you know it's going to the right place
  2. I like to be able to see what was played at an event as sometimes i can not hear what the dj said the record was over the mic or to see what was played after i left as i can not stay too late some nights in case there is a great tune that next time i could ask the dj to play earlier
  3. Pete Smith had one for sale this week. Not sure if it went
  4. It got played because it was rare. Elitist expensive several hundred pounds dj record until it was found to be a charity shop lp lol
  5. One on Discogs but only good plus. popsike and ebay have ones sold for about 25 to 40
  6. john lennon happy xmas war is over joan baez stewball but other earlier versions around i think
  7. how can the record on the link be ex + with all that background noise ? , a vg in my opinion
  8. Have you contacted dj honky to see if he has any left. If I recall these were given out free and you donated to charity, I don't recall these being sold anywhere
  9. Yes thats about right. It's rather silly this Northern soul thing but just pretend you cued the wrong side then flip it
  10. Legit repress Was coversed as the peppermint men Only way to get this tune hey girl
  11. The seller rejected the bids as they were fake bids to push up price and not pay to spoil auction as they think it's a fake. Info from one of the bidders on facebook
  12. Some good tracks listed so far
  13. make sure you get the right side of the Gene chandler , Does she have a friend probably wouldn't go down to well lol
  14. report to ebay , paying outside ebay is against their rules
  15. Seller should buy the box set and sell another copy to 2nd highest bidder. Scene has gone mad again cos of the muppers and wanna be djs
  16. Pic and bill what does it take on charay for 8 pounds plus postage. Moved it on 2 days later though for a little more ;)
  17. The answer to why promoters give bootleg djs a slot is down to money. Bring in a named dj to play classic oldies and pay dj fee travel expenses drinks etc Get your mate to play pressings for 20 quid and a pint then they return the favour at their event Just people saving money paying people to play records who saved money when buying pressings
  18. Less than 2 pounds a record then
  19. There were 3 when I bought mine. I saw the eBay one on my phone and the went to pc to buy but it had gone
  20. who got the ebay buy it now version last night for £10 after seeing this? lol Ive just bought one from discogs but it was £3 plus postage so at least the value is increasing from your original £1 A great find
  21. If this is who I think it is then there will be some great records in there . I've been buying from him for years after getting a tip from a fellow collector . The clues are in the newspaper article and there was a thread on here about him earlier in the year . If I had some spare cash I'd be up for a couple of boxes blind
  22. I would probably buy 2 x £20 records i liked , £25 worth of motown mfp lps, one £75 soul pack and spend the last £10 on a dodgy mp3 collection on ebay so I could hear a lot of tunes before deciding which to get on vinyl or original cds
  23. IT used to be about 35/50 up till a couple of years ago for an issue , now it gets played a bit and has shot up with the hype to about 80/90 and demo about 100 / 125
  24. Isn't the original the lp track by the ohio players that was bootlegged on the 7 inch
  25. Less but it is due to the death of John powney who I regularly bought from every month . I will increase buying though when I find another good friendly reliable seller
