well pete it says in record collecter mag that the tony and howie is one of the biggest tunes on the midlands reggae revival scene at the minute in the top 10 most wanted / played and lists in the discography at 100 pounds
anyone got any banana / bamboo uk 45s for sale
wasnt there a big article in record collector about someone claiming to have found some before but it turned out they were just good boots
i'll believe it when i see it buy the british version then spend the rest of the cash on something not overplayed
please send the picture to davidwapples@yahoo.co.uk
first buy a bootleg guide then a price guide to stop you getting ripped off , check out the soulgirls website and find sounds you like.
dont buy records in poor / vg condition buy the best you can find as you maywant to trade them on later on ie 1 mint record at £30 is better that 3 knackered ones at a tenner
buy what you like not whats worth money or hyped up
dont discount albums thay often have good tracks and can be a way of having rare tracks on originals
dont believe what all dealers tell you as some will rip you off but theres some bloody good dealers out there.
if a record looks too good to be true and is at a price you think is too good to be true then it may be a boot check before
ask people , ask again then ask someone else if you want to know thinks
some sellers charge for their time going to the post office etc , i had this and told him to stuff record as he wanted $10 for the time it took to get there and petrol costs
just having a clear out

yes there one and the same
didnt she say that she didnt even know time will pass you by was released under a different name until it was pointed out to her later on and it was the record company who changed the name
i had this listed at 25 for a mint demo 2 years ago when i was having a clear out , no one was interested swo in the end i traded it for 6 cdrs of 70s stuff i didnt know and then i bought some of those on 45
i may be wrong but it seems like theres alot turning up , been offered 4 in last month , its on my wants list but i now dont think its that mega rare , im sure i was told there was a box found and some sold for $15 before dealer realised
also has anyone noticed that some records that look to have appeared in the big hall purchase from the states are valued alot more than they should be.
i have noticed several copies of mind and matter and cautions on shrine appearing on auctions and ebay and lists
if a dealer has 4 copies of rare record x valued at 800 pounds with more copies found then this value should decrease , but if someone wrote a guide saying they were worth 1500 he would be able to sell them for alot more , if he reduced the price he would be writing off money from the value of his stock.
whens tim browns guide available?
dave
manships guide says the artist was never credited on genuine 7" acetates
its the modern 90s boot with home made labels in my opinion
the flip proves this - not related to the origional sound other than both motown tracks
i may be wrong but i sold a copy on the boot label of this on the bay for 25 quid.
anglo has this in stock according to the togetherness or manifesto mag , think its "reissued" on stardust not that it was ever truely issued on motown
its amazing how many stardust reissues that are still currently availably make big money on ebay
now they have reissued francis nero and barbara mcnair along with the origionals suspision all available for around a fiver , these fetch large amounts on ebay for reissues. i sold suspision on a boot ecords 45 for £22 on there and can get a better sounding one from a dealer for lot less.
it seams people still wont buy a price guide or a bootleg guide even though it will save them cash
