  1. best i have heard was kitch at the dkof and warren boogaloo at the city club
  2. if people just want to listen to a set of things they know then they should just stay at home with a cd player or goto an oldies top 500 type thing , id sooner listen to 4 hours of unknown bobbins and hear one or two new tunes than the same old stuff. mix it up r&b , crossover, funky/ 70s modern motown 60's etc there must have been 100,000 records at least released from the mid 50s onwards in these genres but people still want to listen to the same few that were played at a nightclub that shut down 30 years ago because they dare not venture out of their safezone or they are just sheep and follow the others
  3. was a good night although apologies i couldnt stay later as went home early due to work ( again ) thanks to everyone who played tunes

  9. only get one list through the post now and the stuff on that has gone usually if i dont ring at the start time post internet , no more buying dud records that you dont know , no more waiting for cheques to arrive and clear , if you want to listen to something you can hear it online in most cases , no more getting ripped off on unknowns that are not rare and available on ebay only downside is lack of record shops in towns but can deal with that
  10. still think this is worth about 35/45 depending on which flip side it has , total madness
  11. i only have the yearly ones , have you got a link to the other set please thanks

  15. i have the first 2 sets , just waiting till my birthday to get the third , good to have these on official releases but at least i still have most of the other tracks on this label on the collector made sets that were being swapped a few years ago until they get the proper release

  18. my mate mick beeby was djing at the crown on lincoln road in peterborough when a transvestite and their mate came up to the decks to ask if he had any techno , was really funny , especially as i had earlier played sliced tomatoes and announced it as fat boy slims rockafella skank instrumental
  19. but that is sort of how it should be , guide price includes vat so thats 20% off the total for a start if you buy from a non vat registered seller or pay cash at a soul night, and everyone says manship is too expensive so 10-15% less than his price isnt out of order anything that is not as new unplayed type condition is not mint so should be less and all these extra +++++'s after grade are really irrelivent but if 2 wanna be djs with space on their credit card balance want a tune then the price guide rate goes out of the window
  20. thanks for the info , if anyone has one for sale please let me know price
  21. just heard this on a disc , can anyone let me have the label price etc , is it uk or usa release thanks
