I have seen these but its not the full label releases for them , still a lot missing from the catalogue that could come out , i have the full run on rictic cds but these are collector made compilations thanks

golden world , wingate , soul clock rictic dont have full releases on cd and there isnt many duke compilations available afaik

The soul merchants that ends next time is £161 already and there was a copy sold on ebay for just under £50 last week , paid £20 for mine and still got it as it was the first tune i broke my £15 limit for in mid 90's lol

Glad to hear a box set of this is on its way , i only have the cd of the Music Merchant stuff that came out ages ago

Is the 50 year thing the reason why a lot of the bluebeat from 61 62 etc has been coming out on legit cds as its now out of copyright and the later stuff has not been compiled as yet as it still has a few years to go?

Yet again , seller listing a 45 on here for £60 , available for £45 ish from craig moerer and 2 recently sold on ebay for under a tenner price things correctly and they will sell , dont make others pay for your buying mistakes or your greed when selling

If you have bought a rare record from a dealer a few months ago drop them an email saying that times are hard and you are thinking of selling it to get some cash back . See how much you get back compared to what you paid for it in the first place , then you will realise how much it is really worth

It would help if some of the dealers priced the things correctly in the first place , just lately i have seen stuff listed on here that can be bought from other dealers or on ebay for alot less than they are asking , this is not manship selling but other pro dealers. everyone should check ebay before clicking the pm button to compare prices and also the completed items so you can get an idea what the title is selling for on there should you decide to move it on soon. most of the records on labels like rictic curton tamla etc should be dirt cheap , there are that many around but because of the price guides listing them at £10 people want near that for things that should be in soul packs / 3 for a tenner type offers There are still the same amount of records out there as there was when the price guides first came out , they have not got any rarer just more in demand or hyped The records would sell if they were priced correctly in the first place , its just that its less work to sell one record for £50 than 10 for a fiver

Got rid of most of my rarer stuff a few years ago , didnt have many but they went and now i only buy up to £30/40 records concentrated on a few labels that i have the majority of tunes on and started a few others. will buy stuff i like that is cheap enough but still lots of people trying it on because they paid big money for tunes that were £10/20 before they got played
