Well what can you say - Stafford reunion
Was very fortunate to attend all the Niters in the 80s at the top of the world and it was a real memory jerker walking in there one last time
A musical journey of a lifetime captured In one amazing night
To see all my DJing heros ( Keb Darge Guy Hennigan and Dave Thorley ) all different in their style on the the same stage was a true highlight and very emotional for me.
I danced on the same.spot as I did 41 years ago . No hair now double the weight but still the same brilliant music blasting out the speakers to get the pulses racing just like it was back in the day
Whilst dancing I thought of some of the people no longer with us ( Chris king mad Mick tommo mud Pete Lawson tim Fletcher and Many more ) and When 'jack Montgomery - dearly beloved ' came on - I was suddenly overcome with emotion - tears were rolling down my cheeks - this mad scene of ours its unique it s special but when you strip it back and it's just amazing music that gets you dancing
Stafford will always be in my heart for many reasons and was glad to be there one more time
As Doug banks Sang - I just kept on dancing
Well done to all involved

Whilst going allniter s heavy in the. 80s some weeks the only ones were in Cleethorpes playing all new releases (Modern) thinking I would hate it - absolutely loved it . Then got me collecting all these. Mecca and Cleethorpes records..and was the drive and inspiration behind doing 70s and 80s uptempo soul allniter s at the Nuneaton coop.
Did 5 up to and including last before the dreaded lockdown
Still believing in the policy due to the brilliant range of music we return Saturday march 18th - give it another go
