at the wigan days you had the oldies djs of steve whittle,brian rae, dave evison ,chris king and the like and 25 years later the same guys are still at the helm... where do u think the next generation of all oldies djs will come from taking into account Brian is nearly 60! views anyone?

was listening to the exciters today on tape from there appearance at wigan wow,they did rather good,,the reception to 'blowing up my mind' is rather good and is in the same vain as the major lance recording anyone on here go? alot of people say that betty wright was on e of the best ever acts at wigan,and jackie wilson wasnt so good and billy butler terrible? anyone wanna share some memories?
