Forgotten Oldie For The Day
what to do - rca dj had never heard until the week.. wigan sound 75 ... for me its classic wigan for that period girly,,uptempo and everything that the scene was looking for at the time... seems to me that they would scour the whole label for anything that resembled danceability this would bomb like anything today but still has that nostalgic beat for me and it'll be in wigan only box probably never to see the light of day again who knows? regards fluff

Looking For Dj's
===== hi andy.. suppose it is in a way...but i thought id try and see what response i got.. ive done alot of do's over the years and have had alot of my favourite djs on and now am running out! ive got a picture of what my ultimate night i want to run / want to be involved in and just seeing if anyone wants to share in it.. as with alot of areas we ve got some great locals but its also nice to get some guests from other areas with decent collections who can help to make a good nite!! my main aim is to run the best oldies soul nite ever but also to have a night where the dj can play what they want without pressured to fill the dancefloor... sounds a bit hairy fairy i know but thats whats in my head constantly... and no i wont publish any names that have replied..dont think its fair..but ive had a few and ive always paid the djs who have djed at my dos even if its only petrol money,,, regards mark
