======
no offence to me martyn in the slightest
i only went 3 times im no judge on 8 years of wigan and have never professed to be
but i have the playlists from the casino and know there were some FAB tunes..
the 3 nights i did go to however were the end of an era and the 2 oldies nites after and they were all great nites...it didnt help i suppose when the first record i heard when i looked over the balcony was 'night to remember'...went both the fleet and clifton hall so have the best of all worlds....
all great memories..

brian rae definately played barbara mcneir in his spot at the end of an era...he was followed by Dave evison ,,then martin ellis and russ to finish off....martin ellis's last record was too late and sounded fantastic!..
=====
the very last nite dec 5th ..it was indeed do i love you ,,,but the last but one was four tops - i got a feeling as dave evison spun it before he handed over to russ..dave evison also played getting mighty crowded shorly before the end of his spot..
====
id say £200 is a realistic price for this old Wigan gem...searlings old Four Tempos c/u love me like a man...
steve whittle used to hammer this one ...

========
yes steve,,interesting to me mate being 'wiganer1' lol

amazes me amongst all the 'classic' stuff played at wigan there were things like this and the temprees 45 that ive been plugging slipped in and are all but forgotten but still great...
just love em..
