SeeAll good things come to a natural end .. just the Right time for me as a promotor and the coop for the 6am finish to stop. We've had some fantastic times at the coop and im filled with immense pride on what the venue has done for the northern Soul scene the D'js who have djed for me (all 159 of you - list coming up soon) .but for medium - large venue s you're not going to get the same atmosphere at 4am and 5am as opposed to earlier on and it's just not fair to drag it on for the sake of being a 6am allniter especially for me personally as im knackered the dj s who have to dj at these hours ..good news is the music will carry on til 4 am and clear out time of 5am just less often...been a blast but I'm too stubborn to stop all together so 2022 we carry on we have 4 x 4am mini northern Soul allniter s blackpool mecca reunion night ..jimmy James live for the 16th anniversary ..3 x uptempo modern soul night s and will still be doing my Wigan oldies nights although in a different format...THE NUNEATON COOP is going nowhere while Im still around ...ktf and hopefully see some of you next weekend - ktf DJ Line up 2000-2100 Ian Stacey 2100-2200 Ethan Howarth 2200-2300 Don Morris 2300-0000 Daz Dakin 0000-0100 Mick Taylor 0100-0200 Mark Freeman 0200-0300 Nev Shooter 0300-0400 Pep 0400-0500 Dave Rimmer 0500-0600 Ian James

In the 1980s soul scene for a short time the only allniter s on a Saturday night were at Cleethorpes they not northern Soul but modern soul and new releases 100% different to what I was into but as i was a hardcore niter goer made the journey several times with Richard jakeman and often see Mick Pipe and others on the train from Leicester ...much to my surprise absolutely loved them uptempo modern soul really hit the spot along with Adams spots at oddfellows and Robin salter at Stafford and.dave Thorleys mecca spot upstairs at top of the world it opened whole new world to me..
