  1. Fascinating Steve, unfortunately the Wand CD has gone to the printers, it's the King one I'm working on now. Deadline was last week so we'll have to pool any extra info. Cheers Ady
  2. Thanks ady.croasdell@btinternet.com I only need to hear Girl Of My Dreams. Ady
  3. Hi Dave, Yes I had that, i think we can discount Little Richard's son though. If Richard had been that way inclined he would have been about ten to father Willie. Cheers Ady
  4. I can't find much written about him which is surprising. Also he had only about seven singles over a 14 year period which is odd. Anyone know much more? Ady
  5. It certainly sounds the same. Charge was first in Nov 61 then Dawn in Dec 62 according to our data. That would follow as she was a NYC artist and Dawn was Chicago, possibly a regional break-out. Thanks Ady
  6. That'd be good Bob, ta

  11. What people are saying are that it would cost about say £20 or so more to make 500 than 200 as most of the costs are in the setting up stage.
  12. Thanks Joe, I think Phil's should be better Ady
  13. Sorry Martin, our discog had the Dawn one as It Wouldn't Be Right. Any chance you could compare the two Sippin Sorrows tonight please? Ta Ady
  14. Please Phil, no rush though tonight will be in plenty of time. Ady
  15. If you mean the flips are different, they have different titles. Ta Ady

  17. Yes, same chap and solos on Hollywood, DeLuxe, Blue Candle and Saadia. Ady
  18. Any idea if this is the same lot as L H & The Memphis Sounds. The writers for the 'Girl Of My Dreams' side would be interesting. Ta Ady
  19. Yep sang out of Macon GA in those days under Bobby Smith's production banner.
  20. I'm OK for Freddie Williams now Tony. No joy on Oscar yet though.

  24. I just came across this while researching his Searching For Your Love on Hollywood for a Kent CD. http://jacksonville....ames-brown-dies added by site an earlier article from same paper clip The Lemon Twisters kept playing together; in 1968, they actually had an appointment at Columbia Records to talk about a possible recording contract, said Ray Love, a saxophonist who had joined the group by then. But their driver made a wrong turn on the streets of New York and they missed the meeting. "That was the end of that," Moore said. In 1969, Moore moved to Miami looking for more work. He performed with several groups there, such as Notorious Miami, which enjoyed a minor hit in 1976 with a song titled "Kill That Roach."
