  1. O'Malley Jones has a track on the Romark Kent Harris Kent CD. I think there's some great You Tube footage of him singing in a club. Robb who? I'm missing something here.
  2. Thanks chaps I was just trying to see if there wasw any evidence of it being the E&E Ernest Johnson; I can't see any.
  3. Any chance of a scan of the B side Tony?
  4. Hi Ricky, was it the ad that said it was Ernie Johnson of Eddie & Ernie producing. Is there any evidence of that or just an assumption from the name? He lived a fair way from Richmond CA. Ady
  5. Sorted for a scan now thanks.
  6. L A, Herb Newman, associated with Dore, I think Dore's owner Lew Bedell was related
  7. Has anyone got a copy? I could use a scan, just post it on here is fine. Ta Ady
  8. Well Lorraine, it looks like you've sorted this one out, now get down City Hall and stir those politicians up too. Ady
  9. To confuse things further I've got a publisher's acetate of Ben E King's version (at least I think I have, I'd better play it and see if it's Maurice!) Ta Ady
  10. I might be a bit dim here Des, but why would an unreleased acetate of a good unissued song not set anybody back much? Ady
  11. I think there's one on Rujac
  12. Not really mod soul, more good girlie groups. Many out on Acve and Kent already but a nice collection. I wonder if they know the Naomi Harris story!
  13. Got a few more plays recently, used to be 30 now around a ton? Brilliant ballad flip
  14. It's the Italian version we found aND put out on the Magic Touch CD CDKEND 146. I'm impressed it made it onto a supermarket's playlist. I'd think the manager was a fan.

I'm also pretty sure there are a few other odds and sods dotted around old Kent LPs and some Ace girl group things
  16. Nick Risi who produced the Pat Powdrill's on Downey
  17. Nearly sorted now people, I hadn't realised it was the BT Yahoo hacked first. I've changed my password a couple of times and think it's OK now. Thanks to all those who contacted me and sympathised or advised. Ady PS I've not seen any evidence of a virus just the scam. I had one from Mary Love like this about 3 years ago.
  18. I'm looking forward to hearing this, Rhythm has always been my epitome of the cool mod sound; and its the impressions of course
  19. Not always extra, it's just that some of our deals are pre-digital age and to change them the licensors sometimes want an extra advance when sales of downloads wouldn't warrant it. Also the companies that do their own don't always like allowing other companies to do theirs too. It's complex and something that will ease up over time and practice I'm sure.
  20. I wouldn't worry too much Miff, I think this is a legal technicality. Nobody's going to break down your door to see if you still have the CD or to ever check up on it.
  21. Presumably that wouldn't work on this though Dave as we don't have a download version?
  22. TKOs, Garland Green, Mary Love, Peggy Woods, Wally Cox, Lorraine Chandler, M&Ms & The Peanuts, Devonnes, Milton Bennett, Hytones & Jackie Day should be available from the Ace site on download. While you're there buy the Pied Piper CD. Ady
  23. Hi Miff, too many were licensed in from compnies we didn't have digitl rights deals with at the time but a lot are available as individual downloads. I'll have a gander later
