It wasnt under Northern soul ! We kept putting in Monument for weeks and got lucky

The mass brawl wasnt soul people it was the locals. Ive only ever been to one soul do where there was fight and that was outside! Ive got a feeling it wasnt membership at Rock City,(anyone remember who ran them by the way),so i think my uneasy feeling was down to a fair few locals being in,probably drunk. :angry:

Rock City was in Nottingham. It wasnt a bad venue ,compared to some, big place,just really dark and scummy. You had to rip your feet off the carpet to walk !! Oh and the mass brawl outside when we were waiting to go in didnt help. Just felt uneasy all night.Dont think there were that many nighters there.

Not sure its a 'pop'record,but my fave is Burt Bacarach and Hal David This Guys in Love With You, in fact its my all time favourite song full stop !!!
