One of my all time faves! Before I found the original, I bought a boot, and it had the wrong song on it! (some other girlie track) which I have yet to identify!
I bought this for cheap from someone online and they said it was a boot. I looked on popsike and prices range from 329 dollars all the way down to 20 - but none of the cheap listing says "boot". some of the expensive ones are yellow with green text, and the cheap ones are yellow with black text. is that the difference?

I just heard this for the first time ("money can't buy me love") - love it! Has it ever been booted? Does it get spun much? Any info on Miss Jones? I saw some doo-wop type stuff under same name - same artist?
I just bought a copy of Sunday "ain't got no problems" (Al-Teen)...
...just arrived in the post and i flipped it and got blown away by this great b-side i had never heard before!
YES! I actually spun that song at a wine bar (chill, lounge feel) a few weeks ago. the arrangement actually has a country feel to it. almost like a country-tear jerker with deep soul vocals laid on top.
Yeah - any event would be rad!
I'm from the midwest. used to see tons of local garage bands - Hentchmen, In-Sect, Greenhornes, Bantam Rooster, the Long Gones, etc
i have about 4 singles on that label and have never noticed that.
i recommend you get yourself a copy of JHTD's "you can't blame me" next...
ps - the only time i had that problem (of something sounding weirdly low/weak) was when my cartridge had come a bit loose on the tone arm
Yes.... and tube amps are wicked heavy. I was in a band (bass) and the guitar player insisted on playing out with a tube amp - but he was too frail to lift it! Guess who had to carry his gear in and out of gigs?
i noticed this record is now going for around 200. i got a copy of the light blue verve demo recently for much cheaper. does anyone know if it was booted and how one would tell?
thanks!
