'tis Sisters With Soul Having said that.... was gonna go to Fleetwood for the nite Geordie.... decided I wasn't gonna pay £25 to have to leave about 6ish to get home for young'uns footy match in morning.... then Tony rang at 7ish saying was I still coming over.... told him why not and he says.... well that's a shame cuz Yockie's got a spare pass for me .... was given 10 instead of 8 when they got there.... was in a quandry for a bit but still decided not to bother.... :o

Even though true.... gonna have to watch the footy though in a bit.... with a bottle or two Then I might have to sort my box out into label colour and alphabetical artist/group order .... must make it easier to find stuff though

The words "thought it an original" say it all tubbs.... not everyone is aware of every detail regarding original/boot differences I would suggest.... you learn as you go along over the years.... It's like a guy I know who showed me and a mate his newly purchased white dj copy of The Carstairs.... straight away we said it was a boot as it had "sterling" scratched into the run out grooves and not stamped.... he also said the seller (well known) insisted it was an original on an enquiry.... now was the seller "conning" or was the seller "unaware".... I'll leave that one with you ....

Confused a bit here .... is that because the "winner" pulled out for "some reason".... or did it have a "ridiculously" high reserve....????.... P.S. can you be sure he's not trying to con you ? do you know him personally ?

What do you think will be the seller's answer to that question though Chalkster .... P.S. if you make your new avatar a bit bigger we might just be able to read the writing ....

All I can add to this is the seller will say that won't he.... but it's up to you if you go ahead and buy the record.... I'm sure Awake 502 is 100% correct though.... easiest way to make sure is what been mentioned before.... get an issue not a DJ copy.... although they're more pricey.... If when you get it you find out it's a boot.... well you wouldn't be the first to have bought what you thought or was told was an original....

Just sorry to read that the "scene" is such hard work for you guys over there.... and then "you" have to read all the "crap" and "bullshit" on forums/lists like this with "us" and our "politics" on the scene about venues, records played or not played, who runs what and where plus the occasional "I know more about NS than you" attitudes .... Firstly.... know of someone who has bought of the two ID's.... same e-mail addy.... same "sender" address on packaging.... or are they "shared" as well....???? Granted.... some things turn up on Styrene in "mint".... wasn't saying they didn't.... was saying how on these particular eBay sales lists they are "worn" so are more legit looking in appearance.... UNLIKE the vinyl stuff that's always "mint" and looks "fresh of the press".... rare or otherwise.... As for "evidence" would not want to buy just to check it out and find got stung.... would rather avoid.... if others say all's OK then good, but nothing wrong with being "suspicious or sceptical".... like Mike said, an "open forum" for all to read.... if the "pro US sellers" read this stuff then "all the better" IMO.... justs lets people know that "we" have these topics and opinions which sift out the good from the bad.... Until informed by a "moderator" that certain "posts" are not welcome then will continue to express my opinion just like you and everybody else can express theirs....
