  1. That'll keep Errol busy then .... Know your ploy now .... won't say owt though ....
  2. One thing about the "servers" being down or playing up Mike.... it stays a little quiet on here meaning you can catch up with "topics/posts" that you might otherwise "miss/overlook" due to the ammount of "member traffic" that adds stuff to this forum.... loads on occasions mate .... Good thing to me though Mike, when not been "online" for a few days .... well at least not since the weekend ....
  3. Who's eBay ????.... do we know him/her ????.... or is it a pet name for something with batteries .... P.S. Don't worry Mike.... "servers" can sometimes be a problem.... I know from my "meal times" in the local Indian restaurant ....
  4. I don't know you Dunc.... but had to respond to this.... apologies upfront .... Don't know much about "scooters" other than the "push along" type I had 30ish years ago.... or the "sit on them" type with an "electric motor" my 10yr old had in Dec 2003 for Christmas (the price of that is a "whole" new story, f*** me).... so obviosly if this is for an "adult" one then I'm suspecting you want one with no wheels, engine knackered and quite a bit of rust if wanting a straight swap .... C'mon.... Celeste only fetches upto about £300 from those interested if in the real world.... and that's one without "crackles" .... unless it goes up for auction on Ovenchip's site.... then, well.... ought can happen ....
  5. Only just back online today.... busy, busy, busy, as they say .... good job really cause "site" is having probs .... Are these the one's "pikeys dog" didn't "whoopsy" in Shane .... Seriously mate.... thought you had "more" than this for sale in "yer box" .... or did Errol buy a lot of them .... Lob 'em all up mate.... you never know ....
  6. Hey up Darren.... Didn't know you were on here.... I'm presuming the "Awake 502" comes from one of your "favourite" records.... Eddie Parker - I'm Gone.... Times have changed mate re records played.... "education" obviously didn't work for some people back then.... obviously taken a few "nite schools" later down the line for it to work .... Will take up the offer and "pop" in shop one day.... don't get into town too much these days though.... in fact always leave the "shopping" type things to our lass and my daughter.... if "have" to go, e.g. crimbo shopping, etc., tend to stick local at Crystal Peaks or occasionally Meadowhall.... Seen Crofty lately ?.... know his whereabouts ?.... Chalky says he's Chesterfield way.... Catch up with you sometime ....
  7. Two Warren designs.... all silver and that one with blue logo.... the latter being the rarer of the two.... double the price of the all silver one....
  8. £3601 I thought it was.... must have keyed in the wrong item number in his snipe engine .... wonder what he's managed to win ....
  9. This sites been "down" for quite a while now.... just says "under construction".... Is it coming back ????.... know it's had one or two probs in past.... suppose it could be a complete overhaul....
  10. Dealers is correct.... I'm reliably informed.... just hope that if it's "dealt" on to pastures new it ain't anybody on here who knows what it was got for.... because can't see anyone paying an extra fair few ££££'s when they could've bid themselves.... Personally think it'll be a "keepy" as sure they collect as well as deal.... Finished lower than what I thought it would.... thought at least £4000 at the minimum....
  11. Had that "thought" myself this afternoon when I noticed his/her "user name" as one of the "active members".... he/she looked at this thread but still no response to queries made though .... Noticed he/she "cleverly" avoided the questions by Jodie.... just said "thanks" for summat then "rambled on" on another tangent.... hence the "Hmmm" response.... Not too sure what info "miss-popcorn" and "lisahurley" have different to everybody else with what they've put .... Not a "dig" at the two previously mentioned members.... just curious because "stax" has remained ominously quiet .... if know summat please let on .... As said.... if nowt to hide then put us all at ease.... simple really.... or are we "simple" for "dragging" this thread on ....
  12. More laid back .... better vibe.... .... only thing that, in a way, spoils "Visitors - Never The Less" for me is the bit when the "wooh" comes in (after about 2mins).... otherwise it gets a ....
  13. It's Over -Funkmasters.... top tune although not "northern".... takes me back to the mid 80's at "jazz funk type" do's that I frequented from time to time over a few years .... p.s. still got the 12" of this, amongst others of that ilke, and "do" get them out for an airing at home every now and again
  14. It is isn't it Billy.... thought it was one of "those" you have, like, but no one else seems to know let alone have.... that changed when I read Mark B was mentioning it .... Moral is.... you're never on your own ....
  15. Easy answer this one Billy.... Not on MOTOWN like The Four Tops.... or another "biggie" sort after type "label" that had the sound of it's day.... "fools" I say.... "fools" .... Playing into "our" hands though .... so can't complain too much ....
  16. Hey up Danny.... about time you joined in.... I know Darren works at bottom of Fargate.... was meaning I ain't seen him at a soul do for a couple of years.... Pete Smith is on here known as "Pete S" if that's who you mean.... use to see Alan Senior a fair bit when he had that "club" in Rotherham and also that pub "The Sidings".... at the pub was through the "pool" league I ran/still run.... know he's got "Banus" (old Josephines) now in Sheffield.... see Adrian quite a lot out and about as mentioned in an earlier post on this thread.... p.s. "bladeforlife" is Steve Mannion.... who I know you know from his DJ days at Clifton Hall (Rotherham) and Queens Hall (Bradford)....
  17. Good call Mark.... had this one a while.... seem to remember putting the other side on the Mid Tempo CD swap thingy.... An RA sound file of NTL.... LISTEN HERE....
  18. That's when I last saw him and spoke with him Stevie.... first time after a fair few yrs.... probably feels like 3yrs ago now but maybe really only nearly 2 ....
  19. Misguided.... mmmm.... one way of putting it Kev ....
  20. Always finished a weekend of in good style I think.... especially if been in bed Sun mid morn and early afters following a niter.... nice to get up and go somewhere before work on Monday....
  21. Will be him mate.... he did a few places in the 80's.... don't think he did Clifton Hall but do know he did Queens Hall and others with Steve.... plus the odd guest spot elsewhere.... Know both of them (D & S) co-ran a "freebie" thing in Rotherham on a Sunday night way back when (late 80's I think).... seem to remember the place being called "Capones"....
  22. Please do Chalky.... have fond memories of "chugging" over to Wigan from KGB, or sometimes going somewhere else, in Steve's green car with Adrian and Darren Harden (another guy I ain't seen for about 3 yrs).... could never remember the make or model.... knew it had engine in back (not VW) and we "choked like fcuk" in the back on the fumes.... Soul content: "good times bad times"....
  23. Fcukin hell Chalkster.... wondered where he got to.... knew Steve and Adrian very well from when they started promoting Clifton Hall..... They use to have the T.V. and electrical shop in Rotherham called Strads.... also a cafe a few doors away that had NS on the jukebox.... Hadn't seen either for ages up until about 4 years ago when Adrian walked into Ponds Forge.... he was still in some flat in Rotherham at the time.... anyhow, he got together with a female friend of ours and is now living about 10 mins (in car) from me.... still see Adrian and we often wonder where Steve ended up as Adrian lost contact with him a fair few years back.... Small world mate....
  24. Must just say Mike.... occasionally keep reading here and on other places about "RealPlayer" and "all its baggage" and other stuff re "spyware" etc., and can never really understand why.... If you know how RealPlayer works, what it does, how it does stuff, then you will never have a problem.... you set your preferences and delete what you don't want like many other proggies.... I've used it for the last 8 or so years, upgrading when available, and never ever had a problem with it.... Sometimes I think it's more to do with the "hype" and "listening to what other's say" which usually comes from sources that don't really know that cause the "suspicion".... This is true in the cases of many software proggies IMHO.... Only a thought mate.... but thought I'd add it here just to have an alternative view to what is becoming the "norm" re "Real" stuff....
  25. I read them as being "from Belgium" Mike .... I may be being cynical here but a "hotmail" address and the usual "bad english" in post tells a story to me mate .... STAX.... if your for real then I'm sure you'll do as Mike asks ....
