  1. You can stuff every one of these records up yer jumpers - I'd swap em all for that Saab in the last Casino pic.
  2. Louis Jordan was probably one of the first post war artists that crossed over due to the mixing of black American GIs with their white counterparts , at the beginning of Rock & Roll... everything before the second world war was classed as race music... ....then again there's that black herald on the Bayeux tapestry
  3. Because its on a different label to the original (and one that is well known as a bootleg label.)
  4. A-side = Look up to the rooftops.... B-side = ...at the arse of a Crow. Group and record anyone?
  5. I've got a couple of nice excellent copies around here somewhere - at worst there will be a drill hole in the label or very light sleeve scuffs - £20 inc p&p if it's the issue, £25 inc p&p if it's the demo
  6. "I don't know about you" only came out on issue, the demos are single sided with the 'other' side on both sides.
  7. sounds slightly different, but that might be down to the recording software. Label is still suspect though.
  8. Contrary to what Johnnys just said, I'd leave well alone - looks like a 100% boot for the Popcorn market to me. Will listen to the soundclip and get back to you.
  9. ditto. And Bacharach / David.
  10. "What's going on?" - the LP in it's entirety - mediocre IMO.
  11. Also had a release on Opex as Pauline CHIVERS.
  12. Got a Mint- copy - send me an offer to include postage/paypal etc.
  13. Yup - see you there...
  14. Neither. Staying a little closer to home.
  15. Temptations, without a doubt.
  16. Junior Walker - Roadrunner David Ruffin - In my stride.
  17. I'd rather wear Beyonce as earmuffs than Big Maybelle (and I'm not joking either).
  18. Satisfaction Guaranteed.
  19. Satisfaction Guaranteed.
  20. Will do, last few I've had I've sold for that (2 Whit issues and an Atlantic demo).
  21. You're a bit out on the Lorraine Chandler though... £125 for a demo and £175 for an issue (black label) - or £15 for an orange 70s reissue.
  22. Sorry for the delay chaps - had to work away all of last week, so didn't manage to get them sorted for posting over the weekend... Just sorting the last couple as I type. Now I just need the list of addresses, since I can't get it off my pms on here.
  23. Merle Spears was hammered to death about five years ago... £60 should get you a clean playable copy (VG++ or better) less if you can get hold of an Atlantic copy.
  24. A fiver.
  25. Be careful of the very close lookalike 80s 'Collectors' reissues... Originals are stamped either Bell Sound or ARP (or both)
