  1. Try HMV online - that's where mine came from.
  2. Sounds like a Spencer Davis Group track... much better than the Duffy. Picked a couple of 45s up to put away - If Frank Popp can fetch daft money, there's no reason why this shouldn't.
  3. its a 1970s re-issue copy... they did a few in coloured vinyl...
  4. This one brings a tear to my eye... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3N2IlYUBYZ0
  5. There is no-one I can pop round to... i'm Billy-No-Mates.
  6. Roger, Could I reserve a quarter of wine gums please. Thankyou.
  7. I recently had a problem with my broadband connection that took Virgin 9 days to sort out - in that time I couldn't get logged on at all. Sometimes shit happens.
  8. UK copy of "Touch A Penis" wasn't it?
  9. Dave, I love reading your replies, it's like Stanley Unwin never kippered it.
  10. Title says it all. Most reasonably priced gets a sale. Anyone quoting the "Manship" or "Koppell & Brown" funny papers can forget it. Cheers M'dears.
  11. Thanks for the info chaps - but still not sold... Obviously, cream does not rise to the top.
  12. All sold - please stop asking for them....
  13. All sold - please stop asking for them....
  14. If that's your best offer, I'll not bother thanks.
  15. Because I wanted to know whether you wanted a price on my copy as I can't price it until I have it in my hands... and it's up in the loft as stated (which involves climbing a rickety loft ladder designed for someone less than my not inconsiderable weight).
  16. I was aware of that, but I thought it may have came out in France on Epic/Disques Vogue hence me stating it was a UK copy...
  17. Got a British copy of the Little Richard in the loft... Probably EX condition, so let me know if you want me to go look for it....
  18. Was that the four track EP - "Things Go Better With Coke"? If so I picked one up on the market in Oslo of 30Kr. (Which is about £3.00)
  19. The orange boot looks like the second WD but printed on orange paper. The sound quality is crap if my memory isn't playing tricks on me. No UK demos for the blue labels Stax 45s - you may turn up the odd white label test pressing.
  20. Completely antisocial. What about all the bollox that you talk about to all and sundry? Might as well be sat at home with the lights low and your favourite CD on the stereo
  21. Its French, and the label is misprinted - it should read Googa Mooga - comes with a nice picture sleeve. Original U.S. issue is on Sepia.
  22. What a fantastic idea - until everyone cashes in their cards on the same night, and the promoter is left without enough cash to pay DJs, venue fees etc.... Also, what if you lose your card after the third visit? (Yes, I was being slightly sarcastic when I said it was a great idea)
  23. Tis indeed... https://www.soulexpress.net/soulchildren.htm Quite an interesting read.
  24. Whilst there's a lot of racism involved, I think there's a wee bit of age/weightism... how were Motown to market the 'Sound of Young America' to teens, when the Isley Bros looked positively fat and middle aged... simple, stick out the "This Old Heart Of Mine" with a picture of a young couple cavorting on the beach on the cover.
