  2. How much for a mint one, with company sleeve?
  3. they were probably taken from master tapes - so it's down to whoever does the final mix before pressing...
  4. Val Martinez - maybe £50
  5. Just goes to show how different areas plug different records... I couldn't go anywhere without hearing this record a couple of years ago.
  6. More than a bit rude piggybacking someone elses sales thread...
  7. Cheers Keith, very nice.
  8. Pic cover? Never seen one - any chance of a scan?
  9. well over £100 worth of LP there.
  10. Good luck... i mistakenly (read drunkedly) sold my original mint copy to Bob Morris at the Steam Allnighters... was fortunate enough to have picked up a vg (fine for DJing copy) after a long search. I could have sold it ten times over.
  11. U.S. issue - Vinyl EX but W.O.L. (Prev owners name) £20 including p+p.
  12. There was a boot a few years ago that Charles Sheffield - Voodoo Working on one side and Clarence Carter - Messing With My Mind on the other - that's got to be a candidate for the two most diverse tracks on a bootleg.
  13. White label demo, with black print on Vinyl = Bootleg
  14. nope. not yet.
  15. An Oldie, surely?
  16. If you like these then I recommend "Too Many People In One Bed" by Sandra Phillips and "In between Tears" by Irma Thomas, both produced by Jerry Williams aka Swamp dogg and in the same vein.
  17. Val Shively definately has tons of rare 'Northern Soul' 45s in his collection for the Doo Wop / Male Vocal flips...
  18. Nope, came out on a french 3 track 45/EP on 707 Records, and on Canadian Tamla as well. Poossibly on at least one more French/European EP/45
  19. I have a spare U.S. copy of the lp that I'd be willing to sell for £15 icl p+p (UK). pm me if you are interested.
  20. Came out on 45 as well.
  21. looks like the boot to me.
  22. It's the same as the issue - but it says "promotion copy not for sale" or similar on the label. I paid £150 for it about 6 years ago.
  23. Now you've uncovered it I've just realised where I heard it - I've got the bugger somewhere in the loft. Dopey twat.
  24. Any difference between issues and demos? I have a demo.
  25. The last Allentown record Show i went to, there was a stall selling copies of the Manship Guide - and they made more money than any other dealer there that weekend. Practically ever record store you go in has at least one edition of the guide. The cats well and truly out of the bag.
