It would appear so... Not only Duke did these sets for Seeburg - I have the Barbara Dane "I'm On My Way" on Capitol as well.

Righto, The Jukebox Compact 33s (the ones numbered 1 thru 5 - which is the entire album split over 10 sides) came in a branded envelope stating 'Seeburg Album of the Week' or similar - these packs included title strips and paper 7" reproductions of the album sleeve for putting in the Jukeboxes. The Jukebox EPs with more than 1 track per side came in thick card 7" sleeves with the album coverslick pasted on one side - these also include title strips and smaller (approx 2" square) 'album cover' artwork for placing in the jukebox. I don't have the EP, but I do have the pack of five with everything except the 7" sleeve art (but a friend of mine does have this which is how I know it exists...)
  5. Give the man a break, don't you think he's got enough on running the site as it is without adding a whole new section and the software/bandwith to run it?

Anyone mentioned Rotary Connection? Minnie Ripperton on vocals, and Sidney Barnes in there as well. California Soul? Definately a hippie vibe to that one.

One here but it's massively overpriced - you should be able to get one for around a tenner plus postage https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GLORIA-JONES-TAINTED-LOVE-CLEAR-VINYL-12-RELEASE-/260407734595?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item3ca182b143

Inferno 12" from the early 80s.
  9. If it's the one on Decca then i used to play it at Brighton Beach (a Mod club), but never at a Northern night - Horses for courses...
  10. Sure I've got a Mint one kicking around in the 70s sales box... £15 all in - but I'll have to find it out over the weekend...
  11. Such a shame as he was a genuinely nice fella. Thoughts go out to his family and close friends.
  12. Is this the same as Sheila Ferguson, also on Swan? I know it's the same song, but is it a different mix, or the same record released under two different names? Can't be arsed climbing the loft ladder to pull out the SF to listen to.
  13. Surely that would be Carla, not Calla? And Godz is right, different mix of I Can't Go On, on the ContempoRaries.
  14. Just listened to the soundfile and can honestly say that's the dullest 45 I've heard in the last five years. Some people only have taste on there tongues, clearly. $900? I wouldn't give you $9 for it.
  15. bollox. Right, anyone want to sell me a Brooks O Dell for the same price?
  16. two snipers with the decimal point in the wrong place? I've had this happen before with a copy of James Brown 'Spinning Wheel' hitting £1000... which they obviously didn't pay for.
  17. Did somebody just say summat?
  18. Shocking record.

  24. Bugger, didn't realise which Gary it was until this pic was posted. Nice fella, such a shame. Thoughts go out to his family and close friends.
