  1. Are the pink ones West Coast issues? I've got a Vontastics on the plain pink label somewhere.
  2. be careful - this has been reissued recently - make sure what you are getting is the real deal...
  3. Carol Fran - Any Day Love Walks In...
  4. I'm laying money on Aussie. I'm sure I've got a 45 with the 'Copyright Control' box on, and since I don't own any South African or Rhodesian 45s it narrows it down to Aussie.
  5. £25 is probably a realistic price to pay. Has regularly gone for over £30 on eBay.
  6. Nope, both 'nights' not 'niters'
  7. hazarding a guess at: Hideaway Out Of The Blue No Way Out Can't vouch for music policy No Way Out as I've never been, but the venue is shared with Out Of The Blue.
  8. Teddy Pendergrass (Teddy P.) in Satisfaction Guaranteed by Harold Melvin and The Bluenotes.
  9. Eddie Bo - Walk That Wallk - New Orleans Rhythm & Blues LP - Charly Records
  10. Here you go Chalky. Always a regular at Middleton / Steam etc.
  11. BTW, I think the Customs are having a bit of a purge at the moment (what with the change of Government and their attempts to cut the 'Public Spending Defecit') since I've had more of these in the last month than I've had in the last two years...
  12. The handling charge is what they are allowed to charge for paying your VAT for you to the Customs and then getting it back off you. It is annoying when more than half of the charge is made up of this 'handling fee', but there's nowt you can do about it. Bit of a bugger if you get the item and it's damaged / not as described and you send it back as there doesn't appear to be any way to claim it back.
  13. The issues turned up in the 'West Coast Find' that John Manship/Craig Moerer and a.n. other carved up between themselves. There were enough issues in 'the find' to make it more common than the demo (I reckon your looking at a 25 count at least).
  14. https://cgi.ebay.com/TROY-DODDS-NORTHERN-SOUL-ON-EL-CAMINO-HEAR-IT_W0QQitemZ250646198089QQcategoryZ306QQcmdZViewItem This one on eBay appears very suspicious to me... Although 'Troy Dodds' does seem to be the right size, so maybe some did have 'DEMAC' written on the label, rather than the regular stamp.
  15. Cleveland Robinson - Man goes out Got a very clean copy of this that I'd be willing to sell at the right price.
  16. Not my auction but there's a cheapish buy-it-now on ebay, of the Argentinian issue of "Taylor Made Soul"... https://cgi.ebay.com/BOBBY-TAYLOR-SOUL-SIN-ALIENTO-BEATLES-ARGENTINA-LP-/260564067063?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item3caad422f7
  17. Edith Brown ... Roger Banks played this for donkeys years - until he sold it very recently. Think it was Ted Massey that made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
  18. Presumably this is different to the vocal on the regular 45, as that's the band telling jokes? Be interested to hear this.
  19. Money - The Flying Lizards.
  20. Think the lads have been a bit tight on the Sparkels - I'd have said £300 - £325 for a demo.
  21. Had that happen to me...
  22. I've got one for £25 all in if anyone wants it - strong VG++ vinyl - label a little grubby (but not knackered).
  23. How Much? Mint White Demo...
  24. Its a lot of money for a bootleg...
  25. To be noted its a 70s PYE issue, using the Right On label as the source. Does this mean the original UK issue on Right On is worth more than the usual tenner it fetches?
