  1. Some of the prices quoted / asked for on here scare me...
  2. How many of these are out there? Had mine for years and never seen one for sale since i got it.
  3. Looks good. btw. There's a Clyde Allen on Movin' missing from the list.
  4. I wouldn't, but then i'm a White van man.
  5. /more/soul-library/23141-vivian-carroll-oh-yeah-yeah-yeah/
  6. As well as the above mentioned Hesitations/Spellbinders/Williams and Watson, here are the LPs that i would never part with: Voices Of East Harlem - Same - Just Sunshine Voices Of East Harlem - Can You Feel It - Just Sunshine Doris Duke - I'm A Loser - Mojo (U.S. Canyon?) Doris Duke - A Legend In Her Own Time - Mojo (U.S. Canyon?) Irma Thomas - In Between Tears - Fungus Sandra Philips - Too Many People In One Bed - Secret Agent (U.S. Canyon?) Ann Sexton - The Beginning - SS7 Ann Peebles - I Can't Stand The Rain - London (U.S. Hi) Barbara Mason - Loves The Thing - Buddah Millie Jackson - Caught Up / Still Caught Up / Free And In Love - Spring and one that might raise a few eyebrows: Nuyorican Soul - Masters At Work.
  7. fcuk me that's jumped a bit in price...
  8. pm sent re Johnny McCall.
  9. I bought them off Pete Widdison for in my mates shop - he had a box full of em, all stone mint - I assumed they'd just been booted due to the quantity and the other boots/reissues we picked up at the time (which were definately early 90s presses) - he must have been hoarding them for the best part of 20 years if they were pressed in the mid 70s.
  10. I thought the boot of it was produced in the early 90s. I got copies direct from the source at £3 each to sell for a fiver. *edited to correct date of boot
  11. arrgh....Soul Source - eet go crayzee...
  12. I have a blue copy in the boxes somewhere - but it's from Venezuala... never seen a blue US copy. Only ever seen Green or Turquoise copies on US.
  13. Big Maybelle is the bargain of the list.
  14. Not true, it came out on a very, very rare U.S 45. (the blue and yellow version of the label).
  15. I'd say it's at least double that figure with the number of 'second chance offers' he's made.
  16. Is this a German issue? I've seen the 45 on the U.S. Verve label, but never on Plydor.
  17. I'll give you £400 for it.
  18. How much is the 45 these days... got a minter i might part with if it's worth the effort finding it out...
  19. I'd be careful saying it's "definately" Shill... Some people tend to bid on trusted sellers auctions only - and this seller is one of the U.S.' top dealers. You only have look at the bids someone like Seb gets on his auctions to prove this (and the prices John Manships auctions raise are a testament to this).
  20. If this is a rare album, I'm a Dutchman. Anyone paying three figures wants their fcuking bumps feeling.
  21. Came out on Canadian as well...
  22. That's a Canadian issue, Keith. They used to put out Atlantic distributed 45s on either Atco or atlantic, using the original labels number.
  23. Paid £60 for one 18 months ago on eBay. Seen a few pass through there since. Most have DJ written on them in felt tip pen.
